Good idea! Stuff paper in the opening! I didn’t. I left the windows open for the fumes. I thought I had everything I needed. I had almost everything I needed. After four trips to town, I walked back into a trailer full of flies. Evidently, when the pressure in your exhaust tube reverses flies will come into your trailer.
My mistake was thinking it was like a residential toilet in a home that you set the toilet down on a wax ring. Never occurred to me to place it on the toilet first.

A hint: attach the water line loosely BEFORE you put toilet on flange. Its easier when you can see it.

A flange and a gasket are two different things. Some old flanges were set in a 11-5 configuration and require removal to accommodate a new system!!!

What seal/part number did you use for this? It looks like a better version from the original Dometic seal.

My wife puts the toilet paper on backwards. I like it to go over the top.

Yes, it was empty and I had rinsed it. I also put a rag in the opening while I was working on that to stop any odors.
