When they were falling and Dream Jade was slapping Dream John was probably one of the most suspenseful moments I've seen in anything, ever.

The Red Baronand after it, i legitimately cried like teared up and sobbed, that whole shebang, this picture feels like a knife to the stomach as well with jade sleeping with a smile when (*spoilers to homestuckers who haven't gotten here yet*) she, at least her dream self, died, i know she's ok in the real world but man, this animation and the few pages ahead of it really made me despise Jack Noir for destroying prospit and causing Dream Jade's death, not sure what much happens after it though because i'm just barely into act 4 now, you know the one with the trolls.

Homestuck is one of those things where your start reading it like 'haha this is odd shit' then you read on like 'this is weirder but... woah' then you're like 'HOLY MOTHER THIS IS FUCKING LIFE'... You become one with homestuck... then you cosplay and listen to the music over and over and yeah. even when the comic ends, you can aid the mourning process by spazzing out in the fandom. Homestuck is never ending. you can never escape. You can never want to.

Long story, a week later, the cosplay came in the mail.
I think the part of [S] Descend where jack just walks toward WV's army and holds up his sword is so awesome. Imagine an animation of that, but with no music. Just howling wind and silence. Jack moves forward, holding up his sword and brandishing his teeth, and then... slaughters everyone but the Warweary Villein. Fucking poetic.

I love being able to tell when Toby has made a track, because he has made this very specific signature in the way he makes music, as well there are the small riffs and segments that you've just absolutely heard in other projects from him. And the distorted groans in my theoretical opinion is resembling the painful noises of the horrorterrors.. I like the sense of eerie in this part and Hussie knew how to discomfort the viewer.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the Trolls. I've only began Act 5, part 3 and... I prefer John, Rose, Dave and Jade...
My friends and I played through a homestuck based DnD campaign. The semi-climax had us fighting a dracolich form black king and Jack noir simultaneously. One of used sylph powers to summon PM, and another one, through shenanigans, had acquired the White queen's ring, which he promptly gave to PM, who attacked Jack. Six of us - Seer of Light, Knight of Time, Prince of Hope, Heir of Void, Sylph of Space and Page of Rage - then used a six person fraymotif, which bound the King in chains of hope and light while the shadows accumulated around the Heir, turning him into a giant Shadow Naga (snake person.) He then proceeded to fight the king and take his staff, which was shattered by the Prince. I then put an arrow through the King and we promptly finished of Jack. Every time I hear this song, I see that Naga rising from the battlefield.
I'm currently adapting the system from 7th sea to run a Sburb/Parador Space based campaign.
I recently played a session and I continue to. I was the Prince of Rage and I saw my denizen eat my guardian. I attacked him with everything I had but it barely left a bruise. That's when I saw his legendary gauntlets that he stole. I used a GAUNTLETKIND strife specibus. I ran, grabbed them, and clocked him across the face. It hurt but he attacked me back and i was close co death. I used a fray motif to get rid of his anger and it left him confused on why he was attacking me. I used that opportunity to ABSCOND. Later I went grimdark and ended up killing one of my team mates but i resurrected them with a kiss. Then we all ascended but it was too late. Our session was destroyed. One of our players forgot to prototype per-entry but that was the least of our problems. We apparently forgot one player on earth. The Maid of doom. My party was The Prince of Rage, The Witch of Blood, The Seer of Time, Mage of Space, Heir of Mind, Rogue of Life, Sylph of Void, Knight of Breath, and the Maid of Doom.

There this doomed session, An alternate timelime where the Seer of Time left notes with the ecto-baby with instructions on how to save the session, and then a scratched version of this session where we play as our guardian. Something about Homestuck is incredibly tragic to me. It went from a cool, silly concept that brought some very talented people together whilst boasting a dedicated if somewhat rabid fandom to this shambling zombie of itself, kept on life support to drag out a story we should've and could've moved on from a long damn time ago. Something about it just sets my blood to boiling: it really could've been great but it all came crashing down. I feel sorry for the fans, and even if I don't know if he deserves it, for Andrew Hussie.

@Vladimir Harlow I already explained a little in what I originally wrote, but to me at least HS shifted from "Homestuck" to "clusterfuck" in a bad way. It ended, as well, only to be hijacked into what appear at a distance to be endless subsets that nobody is really enjoying and which don't seem to be doing well. Hussie created it, brought it through to what it was, and also engendered the people who now create Homestuck in his stead, which is not a good thing. Again, he started what could've been and was a really cool comic which spiraled out of control into what I think is best described as sprawling mediocrity.

jokes aside, this maybe be the best score i listened like EVER, the way toby put the leitmotifs on this is MAGICAL! the entire piece is in Cminor (modulating to Cmajor on the skaia's theme) and this showed me how powerful this tonality can be, for me, C is a key for nostalgia and hope.
