I always love the bmx grips, good both with or without gloves....most mtb grips were slimy and find it pricy

I know what you mean about the cost Vs performance on lock on MTB grips. Nice to be able to switch things up, without the bigger cost. I've been trying lock on options recently so will report on those soon 👍

What's your take on lock on grips for trials use?

Hey Mark, I was put off lock-ons initially after the Cult/Vans waffle lock-ons feeling really hard & nothing like the rubber alternative. I copped a feel of Ali's ODI longneck lock-ons at Radfest & they feel pretty good & similar to rubber ones, so I'm pretty keen to try some! Do you use lock-ons?

@@TRIALS_SHACK I see, I do use lock on as I've only just got into trials so was unsure what to use. The he old onza I have had massive chunky grips on that I didn't like so I changed to a set of the inspired ones you have, I found that they moved too much and we're quite harsh on my hands so changed to a set of strange lock ons from orange. So far they've been fine moved a touch so nipped them up a tad and they've been fine ever since.

Good stuff! I've currently got some Onza Porcupine lock-ons, they were an emergency buy at Radfest after the bike was in torrential rain. I've been wary of lock-ons because of the higher cost (& risk of not liking some after spending £20+) but it's time for me to experiment with them more. They are a no brainer if you're having problems with throttle grip, as long as you can get the feel that's right for you
