Awesome video man! What else is needed for the rebuild on top of the PGS kit?
I can see the 3 main bearings that is fine. How many seals are there to replace, and for the main big gasket, can I just use gasket goo instead?
I'm trying to avoid buying a whole rebuild kit and just get what is needed, thanks!

Hey Rabid, What tools do I need to rebuild my r154? Do I need a press or just pullers and stuff?
You will need a press for the bearings. And an oven to warm up the new bearings to reinstall. You'll need snap ring pliers as well.
Wonder if this gear set also works in aisin ar5 transmissions. Since they are basically a updated r154.
That I'm not sure. You'll have to do research.

What diff do you u have and what's the final gear?
With my R154 I'm running a TRD 2-way with a 4.27 final gear.
I'm running a 3.91 rear gear. With a q45 lsd and 6 bolt stub shafts
Rabid Jz I'm about to change out my shafts but moving to South Carolina in July Has put that on hold. This is in my GS300 with a 2jzgte vvti, single Borg Warner s366, small turbo small power.
Boost is boost though lol
