Styles Upon Styles 2023 (Event Recap)

Styles Upon Styles is an annual street dance event held in Las Vegas and sponsored by Cirque Du Soleil. The event consists of a week-long dance intensive featuring some of the best specialists from around the world, nightlife events (jams, sessions, pre-parties, and after parties) held at some of the best clubs and venues Las Vegas has to offer, and "Main Event Battle" competition for $3,000 cash at the end of the week.
The intensive is held Monday through Friday and is 5 hours long each day. Each dancer gets over 25 hours of training with masters in each respective dance style. This year we were happy to welcome the talents of Walid (Paris), Slim Boogie (LA), JRock (LA/LV), KIDD the Monster (FLA/LV), Funktion (LA), Pandora, (LA/LV), and Master character and clown teacher RJ Owens of Cirque Du Soleil.
Throughout the week there are jams held at various clubs in Las Vegas. This year we proud to partner up with club "Corduroy" for a taste of the famous Fremont area of LV, our official pre-party was held at "On The Record" located in Park MGM hotel with special music guests Diamond Ortiz and Funk Freaks, our final nightlife jam and afterparty was held at Area 15.
On Saturday we held our "Styles Upon Styles-Main Event Battle" at one of Las Vegas' newest venues "The Space", which was open to the public. Each year we will have different categories of dance styles to compete in. This year we had Robot/Animation, Waving, and Popping with each winner taking home $1,000 cash, trophy, and bragging rights.
Styles Upon Styles 2024 will be held on October 14th-19th in Las Vegas.
