I've made the suggestion in the feedback tracker that when doing the mouth or any other internal areas that we should have two camera, one on the outside and one on the inside so we can see easily any mistakes from both points of view and hit undo. The camera inside should be looking out of the mouth. It would also be of a great benefit to inform users of particular bones such as knees to aid in structure/roundness when deforming with animation or use case for the facial bone (why its empty)
Ahhhhh I guess I'm finally going to buy CC4 tonight!! This is what I've been waiting for. Now it would be even better if you could save your weight settings and apply to other characters you bring in to cut down on time (That would only work on characters that are similar)
interesting, i've been wanting a tutorial on this for awhile too. I've searched youtube, but couldn't find one. Now I just gotta try and see if it works. Let us know if it works for you, I'd love to hear if this is functional for everyone
The most awaited thing from Reallusion is the Transform Daz Genesis 8.1 and 9 to CC4, if you succeed in making this transformation a CC4 update then I really appreciate it and will continue to upload on my channel the latest CC4 features which are extraordinary
so i have created a character using the headshot plugin... and attached it to the body in cc4....but in certain places like the underarms... the skin weights need to be adjusted... but this option is unavailable....
Hi @abhishekpro1, Characters created with Headshot 1.0/2.0 are all CC3+ standard characters. Due to limitations in its specifications, skin weights can't be modified on CC3+ characters. However, there are other tools that can help you smooth out the meshes, mentioned in the following tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/WRH5YVtWrwE/v-deo.html In case this can solve your problem, it would be great if you could submit your questions with clear screenshots or screen recordings to our Support Team. We'll try to resolve your issues as soon as possible. www.reallusion.com/CustomerSupport/User/FAQList.html
The one thing that throws me off is that the beard or stubble of my character doesn't have any weight applied to it. Is there a reason why it's doing that?
It would be cool if we could change the skin weights of standard CC3+ characters. I know this would break the clothing so if we could downgrade a standard character to a humanoid character, that would be perfect.
@@aeddychau5690 Ah, you know, I hadn't really thought of using the decimate feature because I'd like to keep a high resolution mesh, but interesting idea.

@@danielbecerra6094 I definitely will! Same here I tried searching UA-cam and forums with no success so I will keep everyone posted.
Thanks RL this is great to see that we can edit eyes and Jaws now, this is brilliant 👍
Good stuff here,, Kai!
Gracias! :)
Thanks. This is what I'm looking for. Now, I can use any humanoid models!!

also why you don't add a smoothing brush to these tools for selection and weight painting?
Oh. People have been waiting for this.
The Jaw bone resets once you close the proportion menu

What is the bones aren't aligned properly on the face?
When you use the AccuRIG to bind your character, you'll need to place the face bones in the correct position.

This video shows the downgrading of a standard character to a humanoid character.

@@0calvin Actually you can use the custom option of the decimate feature.
Has Anyone Tried this Yet? Any video showing it working on your avatar?
When I use AccuRIG in Character Creator 4 it gets stuck at "Applying body skin weight 18%" and never finish
When I used the updated standalone AccuRIG outside CC4 it worked to create a skeleton for my imported fbx character. I did not get stuck this time 😄
The eye is rotating out of socket
how can i add new mesh and skin bind ?
why did you remove my previous comment?
What is the name of software?
why'd it take soooo long to get this video?!!
