- Hey legends, thanks for watching my stand-up special or at least just reading this and moving on.
In August last year, I filmed a stand-up special at one of Melbourne's most iconic venues (and one of my favourite places in the world), the Corner Hotel. It should have been released sooner, but I needed 14 months to come up with the name.
My old mate and absolute killer, Ben Lomas, opened and my wife (The Stunner/#1 Baby Mama) brought our boys along to the early show, so my sons could learn some dirty words to repeat at kinder.

It was such an immersive special it took me right back to the Corner Hotel, moments after the special finished when I was approached by the venue manager and asked if I wanted to meet The Nick Cody. What followed was an unforgettable evening that I get to relive through the wizardry of the internet. Thank you UA-cam. Five Stars.

Problematic. I can't believe UA-cam let this on. I've been watching UA-cam for well over a decade and I've always enjoyed myself until just now. Hiding idea's behind the guise of "joke's" doesn't take ANYTHING away from the literal message's that we all take away from this so called "comedy" . The stage is a gift to be used responsibly and it should be YOU'RE responsibility to include EVERYONE in it and spread love not HATE. I have not been well lately and YOU have done nothing to improve my mentl health with your misogyny , hatred , and bigotry. I disagreed with nearly everything in this "special" and I love comedy. Comedy has helped me through some dark time's . Not this time. I hope your happy.

I’m just amazed that the camera isn’t obscured by the infamous corner pole in any shot. I swear watching a band no matter where I am in that room my view is obscured. Maybe that says more about the 15 beers and whatever else is in my system at the time though.

My younger daughter was born at home. Not a water birth, but there had been discussions about, course... Also, as a part-time teacher, I was basically a stay-home dad for almost two years and a half. Which I personally consider, beyond the worries, sleepless times and paranoia (ny wife chose the more relaxed aproach), a privilege. All in all, I can relate a lot to your stories. Got mad again when being reminded the untouchable big tytz frustrating part. The Roomba was there, too.
