Explanation was good but please explain me what is sensible and lathent heat , meaning of enthalpy , just some small point what is work of evaporator , expansion valve condenser and what is pH and TS diagram Hope ull reply ....
Sensible means can be sensed by ordinary thermometer..... Enthalpy is total heat in the system..... Evaporator in which refrigerant absorbs the heat from substance and rejects heat to it... Resulting in cooling of that substance..... In Expansion device pressure of refrigerant reduces resulting in decrease in temperature of refrigerant.... In condenser refrigerant exchanges heat with surrounding air...resulting temperature decrease and liquid state of refrigerant.... pH is pressure vs Enthalpy chart.. And TS is Temperature vs Entropy chart....By this we can note, In cycle how does these properties changes during each process with respect to each other
It is low pressure low temperature. As it is inlet to compressor. Compressor increases pressure as well as temperature of refrigerant. You can see T-S diagram. Condition of refrigerant at inlet of compressor. In practical also you can observe mostly ice accumulated on inlet pipe of compressor.
@@EngineeringSolutionsakshay but sir. Where is the temperature due to heat absorbed by the evaporator.. Due to evaporator heat it should be high temperature at the inlet of compressor? Plz tell
First of all kindly note this is standard VCR cycle. That means point number 1 is on saturated vapour line. In evaporator, refrigerant absorber heat from substance which is to be cooled. In this case Which is latend heat, This cause only phase change of refrigerant from liquid to vapour. Please note in T-S diagram temperature is same for process 4-1. If you consider other case in which point 1 is in super heated reason then there will be rise in temperature after saturated vapour line. For this watch video from 19:15 onward.
For standard VCR cycle. Heat absorbed by evaporator cause only phase change of refrigerant. Which we called latent heat of evaporation. And there is no sensible heat which will show rise in temperature of refrigerant. I repeat this is for standard VCR cycle. Considering point number 1 (condition at inlet to compressor) is on saturated vapour line. In other words the refrigerant is dry saturated vapour at the inlet of compressor and not superheated.
What does the red dome or the red line represent in the TS diagram? Does it represent mix of vapor and liquid? Whatever is outside the dome is 100% vapor and whatever inside the dome is 100% liquid? Process 2 - 3 is constant pressure and where the green cuts the red dome line up to 3 is constant temperature and constant pressure? 4 - 1 is also constant temperature and constant pressure? Is the red dome line at constant pressure? Could u please answer the above questions for further clarification? Thank u
Red dome is saturation curve... State at left side of curve is pure liquid... Within curve it will be liquid plus vapour... And at the right side it will be vapour.... Within curve you are observing constant temperature... It is because within curve phase changing processes takes place.. So latent heat is required to cause phase change... That is why the portion of process within dome is having constant temperature even process is constant pressure... Some portion of these process is at constant temperature which is within the dome.
At the out put of evaporator, refrigerant is at low pressure and low temperature state. See at the inlet of evaporator refrigerant is having low temperature, right?.. In evaporator, refrigerant absorbs only latent heat of evaporation. There is no rise in sensible heat. Same you can see in T-S diagram for process 4-1, there is no rise in temperature. I hope you can understand this explanation.
@@EngineeringSolutionsakshay Dear Is it the same even for condenser ? High temperature refrigerant comes as a high temperature refrigerant or does it come as a low tempeture refrigerant ?
For condenser, point number 1 is out of the vapour pressure curve, and for this portion there is drop in temperature. For part of the process within vapour pressure dome, there will be no sensible temp change, we can say that portion is at constant temp. Evaporator process mostly found within dome. Considerable temp pressure change happens during compress and Expansion processes.
Process in the condenser is constant pressure process.. Please refer P-H chart process 2-3... Condenser is basically used for removing heat from refrigerant.... Watch 1:50 to 2:22 span of video... Thank you....

Excellent explanation , kindly share some problem on this with solution for more understanding.
At 1:27 i think it should be low pressure, high temperature,v.r.Please recheck it in the book and also logically

Refere, standard VCR cycle..
In condeser, the temperature remain constant bcoz it is an isothermal process🤔🤔but why the temp is decreased??

Yeah got it ,sir (for bell Colemann cycle)
Thank you...
Background sound really disturbing to understanding and break the link which is not necessary i think...
Nice explanation but back groumd music makes disturb....
Sorry sir but in your vidio you show a pitcure of TS diagram correctly but in vidio you show a diagram which is open loop
It is correct?
Both the thermodynamic representations and schematic diagram also is of closed loop cycle. Same refrigerant flows through the system.
Background music are very badly.
Ti is disturbing the study
the music in the background is killing the concentration
