I remember I used to be so disappointed when a UA-camr would recommend a product, I go buy it, then later the UA-camr declutters that product. Over the years, I have learned that just because the creator has decluttered that specific item doesn’t mean they don’t like it anymore, it just means that they have found something better that they like. And even though I can’t buy everything they recommend, I have to learn what I like and what my style & taste that works best for me. That It’s okay to change your mind. ❤️
Something I've learned in my adult life is that what other people think about me isn't my business 💯. Just like what I think about others isn't theirs.

I'm in the culinary field, but my mentor/head pastry chef once told me "you should always keep an open mind and the day you stop learning is the day you are no longer living. Don't think in terms of right or wrong, think about how can you improve upon that for yourself and your technique". And that has stuck with me since. Alot of people are just negative and nasty just because that is the kind of person they are - they are always nasty and negative and they feel empowered by putting others down. That is the #1 reason I stay away from social media. I really got into UA-cam because I wanted to learn about makeup (I am 38 and just recently started playing with makeup in 2020) and I found you! I am so happy I did because it encourages me to play with all kinds of colors and brands and enjoy myself without judgment. You also have an amazing heart, intelligent views (not just blasting off what you hear, you do your research) and fun personality ❤️ 💖 💕 Great video!!
I tend to trust creators that don’t love absolutely everything they try. If they can give me a opinion about who it would work for if they don’t love it then that’s a bonus. I wish all creators would do videos on their favourite formulas and the most long wearing makeup because that’s my biggest struggle 😅

Happy Belated Birthday. Your GRWM and tags are among my favorite videos. As a consumer, my tastes have changed too. In the beginning, I wanted to try EVERYTHING and buying whole collections were all the hype. I don’t do that any more. Watching influencers come and go was eye opening. There were some sad cases (not just the scandals) but people who quit over addiction or other reasons. I don’t want to name names because I genuinely liked their content. I loved your early videos. Your English is much improved. I remember the early days. I’m glad you are still finding UA-cam to be fun.

I love that you are what you call "naive" when it comes to thinking the best in people. I just call it trusting. In the end it either works or it doesn't. Like you, I've been burned and it really does suck. I've asked the other person the reason why and of course they have a lame excuse. I'm over here saying, "Hello I'm no longer in any sort of school setting. Do you benefit from being like this?" It's always a little irritating but I've just got to walk away after that. Wow I didn't realize how long I have been watching your chanel! When I started watching, you had really short hair. It is cool to watch people become comfortable with their content and grow/evolve. I would love to have a channel (a mix of beauty, fitness, music,etc), but I 100% lack the confidence to do so, kudos to you and everyone who can!!! It is great that you have been able to make some real friends! It also makes me feel good knowing I found the genuine corner of the beauty community. Girl you opening your concealer madee me laugh so hard! hahaha haha! I just needed that so much. lol I love you. Plus my big ER (19hrs) visit they found a huge abcess in my throat with a lesion that was deep. It is from my sinus infection. They had me on IV antibiotics, this stuff for the pain then a CT...going on. LOL I am much better but my throat is still sensitive because it had to be cut and drained. it was disgusting but I kept spitting it in a suction thinking oh cool! 😆 🤣 Yes I am dark and twisted. This ENT was perfect. Love these style of video Angel. this was a beautiful look.

In a way, I'm glad that dramageddon happened. I was like you, watching only bigger UA-camrs. But when dramageddon happened and somebody did the "my beauty community " tag I found so many incredible small creators. I was already watching you but found so many others.
Ange, it was quite interesting hearing you answer these questions. I'm 54yrs young and have been using make-up for many years now and on top of this I am an artist of many genre's. It upsets me when some creators presume to know much more than I do and it makes me wonder if they really believe this. I was frustrated after hearing a creator continually damn a luxury brand yet continue to buy it. I've used this brand since before she begun using make-up and never had an issue. I mentioned in the comments that it was unfair to the brand for her to keep doing this, in a respectful manner, only to receive her reply telling me this "wasn't the channel for me" in a not so respectful manner. Naturally, I unsubscribed. Another creator misinterpreted a comment I'd made, maybe due to cultural differences? Instead of asking me to clarify, she was extremely rude and I unsubscribed. I've become very wary of creators whose egos seem to have overtaken them and they have this holier than thou attitude. I don't view to learn how to apply make-up but for a common interest in make-up, being entertained and learning about new products. I enjoy watching Battybean as she knows where to draw the line between content for the internet and her personal life. I feel you are very much the same and when you read out the last question, I answered straightaway with - be true to yourself and honest. From what I've seen from many channels, has not endeared me to search for more to watch as it is a very toxic place. Just keep on being you and the individual you are. My only critique is the amount of creator friends that you speak about which can influence the more gullible to then follow their channels or influence them to purchase from the collabs they have done which they may not have the finances to do. Please be mindful of this. Otherwise, I'm glad you're still getting so much enjoyment out of your Channel and hope it continues this way for as long as it makes you happy. Angie I feel that you always take the feelings of everything into consideration when doing a video no matter if it’s you speaking about a Brand and your personal experience with it whether it be the product or the person you definitely choose your words wisely, you’re open and honest as much as you can be I’ve never heard you bash anyone and if you did have a really bad experience you don’t out that person you’ve never come across as rude in any way whatsoever. You try to bring important things to our attention that we should and talk all the time of always growing and learning I totally agree just because we reach a certain age does not mean we are done learning, in my opinion we are always growing always learning and always will be till our time is up on this earth we should always be evolving into the best version of ourselves and each day we wake up we are evolving learning something new everyday. There are some channels like yours that makes me think about things maybe in a different perspective or I leave feeling better than when I first clicked, then there’s the channels where you feel upset or negative and those are the ones that we should maybe stay away from if they make us feel in negative ways our World is negative enough we don’t need to add to it in any way other than trying to do better in whatever way possible not everyday is going to be great or good but it is our own responsibility to try and have a better day tomorrow or make certain changes within our grasps for better things in the future. As a consumer, my tastes have changed too. In the beginning, I wanted to try EVERYTHING and buying whole collections were all the hype. I don’t do that any more.
Watching influencers come and go was eye opening. There were some sad cases (not just the scandals) but people who quit over addiction or other reasons. I don’t want to name names because I genuinely liked their content.
I loved your early videos. Your English is much improved. I remember the early days. I’m glad you are still finding UA-cam to be fun.

I love that you are what you call "naive" when it comes to thinking the best in people. I just call it trusting. In the end it either works or it doesn't. Like you, I've been burned and it really does suck. I've asked the other person the reason why and of course they have a lame excuse. I'm over here saying, "Hello I'm no longer in any sort of school setting. Do you benefit from being like this?" It's always a little irritating but I've just got to walk away after that. Life is too short for nonsense like that. I don't need fake in my life, unless they're eyelashes. 🤣 Hope you have an amazing day.

Wow I didn't realize how long I have been watching your chanel! When I started watching, you had really short hair. It is cool to watch people become comfortable with their content and grow/evolve. I would love to have a channel (a mix of beauty, fitness, music,etc), but I 100% lack the confidence to do so, kudos to you and everyone who can!!! It is great that you have been able to make some real friends! It also makes me feel good knowing I found the genuine corner of the beauty community. I never was one for certain mega creators, nothing personal against them, it just didn't feel authentic. I appreciate your hard work and the effort you put into creating, as well as you just being yourself! You seem like a genuinely awesome person.

I'm so glad you talked about people not saying certain things and how we shouldn't be rude and judgemental . I agree. Just because someone doesn't li(e someone or a brand or even an influencer , what is the point of being rude other then hurting someone. Some people seem to think because its their opinion it is so much more important.NO!! This life is so short I would tell anyone and everyone IGNORE negative and hate filled comments. Because they do not matter in this life

And you also make me feel like a friend I unwind with after a long day. Sometimes people expect 100% authenticity but these days I've come to appreciate your positive and mature energy. Girl you opening your concealer madee me laugh so hard! hahaha haha! I just needed that so much. lol I love you. Plus my big ER (19hrs) visit they found a huge abcess in my throat with a lesion that was deep. It is from my sinus infection. They had me on IV antibiotics, this stuff for the pain then a CT...going on. LOL I am much better but my throat is still sensitive because it had to be cut and drained. it was disgusting but I kept spitting it in a suction thinking oh cool! 😆 🤣 Yes I am dark and twisted. This ENT was perfect. Love these style of video Angel. this was a beautiful look.

I totally agree with what you said about negative, mean things people say. It seems like nowadays people are very quick to say what they think or how they feel which isn't a bad thing but it isn't necessarily a good thing either & when people are nasty it says much more about them than the person they're talking about. You made me think a little about being a subscriber. I got subscribed because of a very small polish youtuber that I like very much recommended your channel. But to be honest I didn't start watching you then. I saw you did the new makeup releases and decided that wasn't what interested me. I got back to you when you started to talk about Glamshop because I was interested in this brand back then and from one video to another I got to the point where I'm watching every wideo of yours and sometimes even go to older stuff. And being a supporter because you bring me joy worth way more than this small ammount of money.
I love looking at you and listening to you and I enjoy your personality very much. I almost never write comments but I wanted to let you know that I am very grateful thet you helped me understand that I do not love neutrals too. And I stopped wasting money on stuff I wasn't using. :)

In a way, I'm glad that dramageddon happened. I was like you, watching only bigger UA-camrs. But when dramageddon happened and somebody did the "my beauty community " tag I found so many incredible small creators. I was already watching you but found so many others.
Ange, it was quite interesting hearing you answer these questions. I'm 54yrs young and have been using make-up for many years now and on top of this I am an artist of many genre's. It upsets me when some creators presume to know much more than I do and it makes me wonder if they really believe this. I was frustrated after hearing a creator continually damn a luxury brand yet continue to buy it. I've used this brand since before she begun using make-up and never had an issue. I mentioned in the comments that it was unfair to the brand for her to keep doing this, in a respectful manner, only to receive her reply telling me this "wasn't the channel for me" in a not so respectful manner. Naturally, I unsubscribed. Another creator misinterpreted a comment I'd made, maybe due to cultural differences? Instead of asking me to clarify, she was extremely rude and I unsubscribed. I've become very wary of creators whose egos seem to have overtaken them and they have this holier than thou attitude. I don't view to learn how to apply make-up but for a common interest in make-up, being entertained and learning about new products. I enjoy watching Battybean as she knows where to draw the line between content for the internet and her personal life. I feel you are very much the same and when you read out the last question, I answered straightaway with - be true to yourself and honest. From what I've seen from many channels, has not endeared me to search for more to watch as it is a very toxic place. Just keep on being you and the individual you are. My only critique is the amount of creator friends that you speak about which can influence the more gullible to then follow their channels or influence them to purchase from the collabs they have done which they may not have the finances to do. Please be mindful of this. Otherwise, I'm glad you're still getting so much enjoyment out of your Channel and hope it continues this way for as long as it makes you happy. I want exciting and brown, neutrals just doesn't do that for me normally. Color makes me happy! I'm much older than you but I still want colorful looks. I do it for me not anyone else. Always love everything you put out and hearing your thoughts. This is my second year of having my own channel and I don't really think it will ever get anywhere but I like dabbling in it anyway. Like you said, we don't know what our future holds. I may end up as a stay home mum again and then I can put all my effort into youtubing, or I may just keep this on the side as I work my career. I'm 32, still a baby haha
Since you like orange for the lips so much you should try the new Fenty Poutsicle in the Orange colour. I hate lipstains and Fenty never appealed to me but this product is out of this world. It is my first Fenty purchase.

Angie I feel that you always take the feelings of everything into consideration when doing a video no matter if it’s you speaking about a Brand and your personal experience with it whether it be the product or the person you definitely choose your words wisely, you’re open and honest as much as you can be I’ve never heard you bash anyone and if you did have a really bad experience you don’t out that person you’ve never come across as rude in any way whatsoever. You try to bring important things to our attention that we should and talk all the time of always growing and learning I totally agree just because we reach a certain age does not mean we are done learning, in my opinion we are always growing always learning and always will be till our time is up on this earth we should always be evolving into the best version of ourselves and each day we wake up we are evolving learning something new everyday. There are some channels like yours that makes me think about things maybe in a different perspective or I leave feeling better than when I first clicked, then there’s the channels where you feel upset or negative and those are the ones that we should maybe stay away from if they make us feel in negative ways our World is negative enough we don’t need to add to it in any way other than trying to do better in whatever way possible not everyday is going to be great or good but it is our own responsibility to try and have a better day tomorrow or make certain changes within our grasps for better things in the future. I don't know when I started watching you, but it was pretty early in my "research" for makeup and at first, I just watched some recommended videos from you and, in stark contrast, og bootygurus. After just a short while I couldn't watch them anymore, too dishonest, to over the top excited (btw your favourite word right now and I love it! ♥️ It's a good one to have!) and pushing sales. I was repulsive and then another of your videos showed up in my suggestions.
