I want to thank you. Before I found your channel, I was a neutral girl. I have green eyes, so brown eyeshadow was all I wore because it made my eyes pop.
But since I found your channel, I've experimented with color. I recently bought the Nightflower palette and I love it. I wore it today to work. I would never have had the courage to rock colorful eyeshadow before you, so thank you! Also, I use your technique of using a lighter color to blend. I love how my eyeshadow looks now. I can't wait until tomorrow to do another eye look.

Do you ever just run a shadow with transition shade to your crease and leave the lid plain like people do with bronzer? I think it is so pretty and i think it brings out the green in my hazel eyes.
I am so glad you are taking time for yourself. It is not so much to ask. I take one week off for myself every year. I take care of health appointments, sleep in, stay up late, shop, and play video games. One week isn't a lot but it is wonderful. The rest of my vacation days are for family, friends and travel.
Take as much time as you need, and definitely don’t stress about video uploading! Everyone needs time to relax and decompress. We Americans struggle with this concept sometimes 🙂 Don’t let that aspect of American life rub off on you.
If you come to Fiesta Texas in San Antonio spend the weekend one day for the park one day for shopping and spa treatments at the Rim then a day to see the Alamo and the River walk

I have been to both Six Flags in Dallas and San Antonio. The interesting thing about the park in San Antonio (Fiesta Texas) is that it is open year round. You can get season passes that will get you into all Six Flags theme parks (unlimited) and this also happens to include the water parks (Hurricane Harbor) in Dallas. It would also include any Six Flags theme parks in the USA, Canada and Mexico. I had a friend that purchased these passes before and she and her boyfriend would take long weekends, fly to a city with a Six Flags, and just spend all of their time at the park. If you were to do something like this, make sure the pass includes the Halloween and Christmas theme events, I have also been to those, and they are so much fun!
As much as you enjoy your pool time I think you would love the big water parks, days in the sun and water rides? Guessing here? 😂
I have been to Six Flags as an all day thing in the summer, from park opening until it closed and I must say that was difficult and I was 16 years old? 😂 The heat can really be exhausting. Might be best to get a room. Go early to the park, leave during the hottest part of them day, spend the afternoon at your hotel, and then go back late afternoon? Split it up over 2 days?
But since the park in San Antonio is open year round you might can really get your money’s worth out of those season passes. Especially with the mild Texas winters.
The rides are great in both places and they have kept them updated and refreshed.

It’s so important to take time off, especially if you are self employed! I own my own salon (I’m an esthetician) and I try to take the first week of July and the first week of august off every year. My husband takes the same weeks and we really look forward to those weeks. I have a UA-cam channel too, sometimes I pre film, sometimes I don’t. Live and let live baby! You deserve it ❤️

I live in Nanango, Qld, Australia 🇦🇺, we are currently in our winter but I have just returned from a holiday to Tasmania, Australia and may I suggest it’s a must . I have never seen such beautiful countryside.
I’m still in shock to have beach on one side and a dairy farm on the other literally that close .
I got to see snow ❄️ for the very first time , it was just a perfect 50th birthday holiday to spend with my sisters .

I live in the Midwest, USA. My job is a server, and our busiest season is summer. I usually go on vacations in the early fall, during back-to-school season. Our winter time is so so slow, so I usually end up staying home and watching tons of youtube.
I am from Croatia and it's a thing for summer to go to the coast. Lots of people own houses or apartments by the sea they bought in 50ties and 60ties when it was cheap. My husband owns small house in the small town on the coast so we are going there for 2 weeks in August and we will combine it with remote work so we can stay longer. Also during weekends in the summer we go to the rivers for swimming and also hiking.
Being disabled, there are no vacations. No work either, technically, but being sick is a full-time job: actually 24/7/365, no days off, nights, weekends, vacations…. It never goes away. But I fully support taking time off and taking care of yourself! Healthy people (or at least non-disabled people) need to enjoy their health and live their lives! Not to mention take good care of themselves, mind and body, so they stay healthy! Of course, we’ll miss your videos, but we’ll miss more if you don’t take good care of you! ❤️
First of all: it's very cool that you talk openly about your procedures!
Second: do you know about the filler video by Victorian Cosmetic Institute? In the video he talks about that fillers don't dissolve on their own, but instead it's wandering underneath the skin. That's why people start getting those "moon" faces at some point. Please be careful when it comes to fillers.
*Edit: I don't know the difference of all these fillers. But if you're interested, the video is called: "how long do dermal fillers really last?"
Some fillers do and some don't. Usually cheaper fillers do, so one needs to make sure you are getting the right fillers for the right place :)

A a self-employed/contract worker, I sometimes forget to take a break or vacation and appreciate the need for a vacation. I decided to take three weeks off for my wedding/honeymoon/some time off and I have no regrets :) Great video as always!

It's great that you're taking some time off. It's a healthy habit to have so please go ahead and have some RnR. Summer season here in the Romanian countryside is fruiting season. So it's really busy this time of year, all the way till mid-autumn. We're busy making fruit jam, compote, harvesting and pickling all the vegetables so we can use them throughout the colder months. It's tomato season right now, so we're making tomato sauce, bottling them up as preserves and making sun dried tomatoes. Autumn is when we harvest grapes and make wine. We take a winter break because nothing grows then 😉

I truly think taking that break is very important. Burning out on a job or a hobby even can really sneak up on you sometimes, especially if there isn't time for breaks. Coupled with your move earlier this year, I'm honestly glad to hear you made that decision and I hope you can destress!
Also I have a perfume-related question that you might not even be able to answer (in case you even see this):
Sometime last year, I think, you mentioned a perfume in your videos that you described as the scent of the Swedish Summer after rain or during rain. I think you even told a little story on how you recommended this to a friend or something along those lines. I tried to go back to find the video you mentioned it in but it's honestly been impossible. So if you still remember the name of the perfume, or even know what I am talking about here I'd be super happy if you could share the name once again :)

This week I went to Liseberg in Göteborg and I relived your vlog with Maggy! We saw the infinity pool (my partner works for the company that built it), the water-rides, and I followed the recommendation and did not wear any make up xD I needed a week right after midsommar in Spain to just stop and do nothing. My brain was not functioning. I am so happy that we have respect for the holidays in Sweden.
We usually travel from Berlin to the netherlands to See dear Friends of us. Travelling with two Kids, one still a toddler, is so different. Even you are on vacation, you are NEVER on vacation 😅 but this Summer, we are using our 4 weeks vacation to move in our House, which is finally ready!!! 🥳🥳🥳

I think it's nice for pets to have each other when the hoomans are away. This world we are living in is absolutely crazy and I feel like I am constantly waiting for a literal bomb to drop. 5 weeks of PTO sounds like a dream!
I get 2 and am taking 1 in August and the other in November. I honestly don’t enjoy summer because it’s so hot haha so I look to travel to cooler places! Or else travel during the other seasons, but summer is always ideal because it’s not busy season and people/kids are out of school.
Good!!! Regardless of what the norms are culturally where you are now or even from a Swedish perspective - you’re a human being and you deserve a break.
You’re one of my very favorite makeup creators and I’ll gladly make sure to watch all your videos before and after your vacation to try to compensate for any implied losses. You deserve to take a break and not be constantly thinking about posting. No matter how that looks. If it’s a few weeks off, great! If it’s one less day of work, great!
The only bad option is not responding to your messaging from body and mind telling you to take a break.
Beautiful look as always Angie. We normally take a few days Vaca for my husband and sons birthday. In early summer though I'd love to in late fall. You recently moved( stress), moved to another country (stress), you do a lot of work for videos( stress), and back problems( worse than a toothache which is hell on earth or is. It just me). All are major stress. You need you time. You and hubby time to explore your new residence together. We will still be here. Enjoy a breather.
Since we don’t live near family, we use a lot of our vacation time to visit family. Since we have a child, we are also planning to go to Disney World in a year or two, but I don’t even think it will be during summer vacation - too many people and too hot! We highly value family time because we never get to live in the same town as either of ours. I hope you enjoy your vacation so much!

I'm not a summer person. I actually get more depressed when the sun is shining. (I know, crazy huh) I don't tend to do anything special in the summer. I might go to the beach, with my aunt and we just sit in the car and watch the waves. We used to sit at the beach all spring and summer because we worked for my grandpa who had a horse rental business. I would get super wind burned. The sun doesn't shine a lot in the portion of my state that I live in. I would get sunburned sometimes, but the wind burns were horrible. I know, you didn't need a book about it. 🤣🤣🤣

Fiesta Texas (six flags in San Antonio) is super fun! I’d recommend staying the night so you can do a day walking around the river walk and eating some good Mexican food, and then a day at six flags. There is also the Schlitterbahn water park between Austin and San Antonio if that’s your kind of thing. Enjoy your summer taking some time for you!

San Antonio has Six Flags and Sea World... surprisingly, sea world is a really fun and it has good rides. Have fun this summer 🌞✨
I’ve been to both six flags in Texas and they can both be done in a day. The Arlington one is by far the best. It has several ‘countries’, France, Spain etc. the San Antonio one is only fiesta and quite small. If you’re going to Arlington then checkout the Texas State Fair!!!
We usually take a week in the summer to go to a beach area usually in Florida and another week to take the kids to Disney, we just moved to Orlando last month so we are now living where we used to vacation…, planning to take a cruise and a staycation…

When I lived in Dallas I went to six flags at least twice a year. My kids and I love rollercoasters.
No summer plans but looking forward to a vacay in Asheville, North Carolina in November. I am excited to see the Fall colors.

While I love your content, I am SO happy you are taking it slow! I have 2 weeks per year. I take one week in the beginning of summer and one week at the end of summer to spend time with my kids when the weather is nice. No sick time though. If I had a 3rd week, I would save it for snow days! Driving a small car in a blizzard is the worst! Seems like other countries have a better handle on work/life balance! Also, I appreciate your openness with your procedures. I have had xeomin (for tmj and glabellar lines) and a BA. As I get older, I am vaguely interested in filler. I have seen some women who went too far and it is scary looking but some who have done it subtly with lovely results! You look gorgeous as always!!!

Just got back from French Polynesia…it was fabulous! I work for the govt so I have a fair bit of vacation….but this year I used a lot for moving…still a two week vacation away from everything was great!

San Antonio has 6 Flags Fiesta, Seaworld, but SA has so much more to offer. The Mission Trail, the riverwalk, even the Alamo, but imo, the mission trail is more interesting. There's so many great restaurants as well. It's got a couple nice museums, and their zoo is really nice. The botanical gardens are nice, along with the japanese tea garden. Honestly, there's something for everyone.
My summer is fully consumed by recovering from a full hysterectomy 😩
It’s been AWFUL! I’m 11 days post-op right now & still can’t even move around much on my own. I hate summer anyway, but damn this suuuucksss. & my house doesn’t have AC 😮💨 I can’t wait to be able to do stupid mundane things like… cleaning the littre box, doing the dishes, grocery shopping.. 🙃

You should absolutely go to another amusement park 💜 take some happy time for you. We have been to Hershey Park twice this summer and another amusement park, near us too. It's the best . Always can really cheer up your week and everyone should go.
I take summers off too. I’m from California and I take mental health breaks whenever I need to. It’s a good way to live.
Before the panni, we used to have a big family vacation with my siblings and mom. Then, a smaller one with my spouse for our anniversary. We haven't in a while due to everything. However, I've spent most of my summer so far being ill, so I haven't done much of anything, unfortunately! Also, I got the 1Up palette and I've really loving it.

Just hanging out at home, and spending some time with my neighbours and friends. I'll see my mom a bunch too, but nothing really summery planned.
Kalahari Resort is maybe 40 minutes from you and it’s an enormous indoor and outdoor water park with restaurants and lots to do. We went there a few days ago and it was fantastic
Six Flags Over Texas (the one in Dallas) is my favorite of the two Six Flags parks in Texas. You can make a whole day in the park for both.

Beautiful look! As to vacation, if you are going to go to San Antonio, go for 3 days. One day ar six flags, one day at Sea World, and one day to sight see The Alamo, The River Walk with some amazing restaurants, The Menger Hotel is breathtaking! I'm taking my 2 boys on another glamping trip (I require AC in my cabin LOL) with a pool and a man made beach and laser tag and many many more activities. It's our 3rd year going there (Jellystone) and we absolutely love it. Plus we get to ride around in a golf cart the whole time and that's one of my favorite things, and a bar at the beach! Enjoy some time to yourself!

Have you seen the bats 🦇 leave the bridge there in Austin? It’s so cool 😎. Plus there is so many live music venues there! You could be going out and having a great time nightly.
we usually get a season pass at the Six Flags here in Dallas, Fiesta Texas is in San Antonio I have not been to that one but I think it is just a more Latin Approach to the Sixflags, you can enjoy a whole day at either, like you don't have take a few days to cover the whole area/ but we also love to go during the Halloween season for Fright Fest where they still have a lot of the rides open but they also do haunted houses and people dressed up spooky, if you plan to go a few times, it would be financially advantageous to check into a season pass :) totally enjoy your summer in TX: sleep in, relax and enjoy yourself xo

No plans for this summer besides a few local events. I haven't had a vacation since I was maybe 14 years old. My job does give me vacation time though, so I may use it to actually go somewhere beachy and relax at some point.
Definitely come to the Six Flags in Arlington (Dallas). There is also a Hurricane Harbor Waterpark across the highway from it.
Our summer plans were a bust once we had to spend 3 weeks in the midwest (near TX) with an ill fam member. I guess next year we'll take our 4 weeks on our 30th wedding anniversary :) Love the eye look! That Dk Green/Teal is gorgeous!
I have been to both Six Flags (Six Flags Over Texas and Fiesta Texas) in Texas many times; they are both great! You can travel the day before, spend the night, arrive at the park at 11am opening, and be able to experience the entire park before closing at 8pm for either park. I personally enjoy Six Flag Over Texas in Arlington (city close to Dallas) than Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, because I feel their park has more rides catered towards adults rather than children. Again both are a fun time, amazing amusement parks!

As for me, I'm hoping to get some more time with my granddaughter. She starts kindergarten in August and I can't believe she's already old enough for kindergarten, lol. I split my vacation weeks in two so in May me and my SO travelled to Greece for the first time and it was absolutely paradise! In august me and my cousin are going on a shopping trip in Gdańsk so I’m so excited about that too! So liberating to do some traveling again - love from your fellow cold Scandinavian ✌🏻
I think taking time off in your "off season" is a great idea. My kids have overnight camp for 2 weeks in August so my husband and I use that as a time to get away. This year we are going to Vegas. You have to charge your battery
Yes, take the vacation! Enjoy being considerably newly married. Enjoy living in a new country. Enjoy learning your new neighborhood and coffee shops and restaurants. Don’t lose yourself in this country, it’s easy to do in this chaos.

I definitely think you should take some time to rest. We all need to do that. Your health is more important. Also, I was recently in the US and bought the O/S beauty balm, because I usually like foundations you like. Well, I have a problem, because I love it, but I can’t get it in Sweden. I’m going to have to get my friends over there to send me some more when this one runs out

Because I am no longer tied to school breaks for vacations and because I live in a tourist area I prefer to take my vacation at the end of the year.
If you have the chance, visit Busch Gardens! It’s an amusement park! They have several locations! But Virginia & Florida are my favorites!
