Justin, I'm sure that your garden gets lovelier everytime I see it! I'm keeping well away from mine today as I've been bitten by something which always seems to happen around this time of the year but this time the bites are quite nasty. Luckily my brother and his wife are both doctors so I can see them for advice if things don't settle.
I was busy trimming the box topiary yesterday. I did notice a lot of midges flying around last night so I came in as I didn't want to be covered in bites. I hope you soon recover from the bite and it goes away swiftly. On with enjoying the rest of the day now and relaxing a bit...or trying to!
Technical question at 5.11 there was a clip of your pond . It showed the stones at the edge of your pond going " into" the water which would allow amphibians etc to escape ... how did you do it as I am planning a pond but can't work out how to create that part for the wildlife ... thx ... Great vid and garden 👌
Hello, sorry for the late reply. The pond has shelves built into it (pre-formed) and so to help the wildlife in and out I put in a few stones, we have sandstone around here which is ideal and flat shaped so they are easy to stack :-)
