    Trees are amazing. The stress they endure makes them stronger so long as they survive. We recently had a 2 day windstorm with winds gusting to 163 km per hr in Saskatchewan Canada. It was pretty crazy.
    Very cool tree house!

    Why do I have a sudden feeling that the A series of unfortunate events book, the wide window feels so similar. It was a house but this is a tree house, but I love the way the trees creak and move as so the tree house but the house on the edge of a cliff. Oof! Get ready to tumble and roll!

    That sounds like a nightmare when the whole house is swinging back and forth, almost like shaking. And the squeaking alone can drive you crazy.

      Yee you don't wanna be up there when it's windy, it's to scary.

      The squeaking could possibly be greatly reduced by rubbing the squeak areas with Bees wax a similar lubricant that would stay on the rubbing area.
      Good luck.

    It's a great built but would the squeaking become intolerable?

    How many years would you expect the treehouse to last without any structural updates?

    • @xxxtentaciondoggo3873
      @xxxtentaciondoggo3873 7 років тому

      Gary Lockett Maybe up to 2 years. then They Need to check the quality. would recomend to check the tree house every year. :)

      I'm not sure, I think after every strong wind it's good to check if something is broken and maybe every year if all the wood and screws are alright. Now is more than 1 year since I built the main structure and for now it's like new.

    thats cool but the bad part is that something might fall on the tree house and might break it am telling u this not to be rude but to warn u to stay safe and so the tree house stays safe:)

    And everyone told m e that my treehouse will get destroyed with first storm... In 30m/s wind it moved maximum +-1cm
    But that thing is flying, hoping that'll survive for a long time ahead.

    I'd be looking to at least slip pieces of plastic (UHMW is best, though polyethylene will work, too, maybe cannibalize some 5-gallon buckets ) everywhere a tree trunk makes contact with the structure.
