I have always loved the Hercules soundtrack especially this song and by god do you do it justice what a lovely tone and vocal clarity. Almost teared up at the end.
Amazing. Just earlier today I searched for this exact performance but couldn't find it, so I loaded the Global Citizens version instead. I left the tab open for a few hours and just now got around to watching it. I thought, "that was great, but not AS great as the Broadway's Leading Men version, I wish that one was online," and then UA-cam led me right into this video, which had just been posted. What luck! I am going to be breaking the internet watching this on repeat. Even my too-cool-for-everything teenager had chills watching this on PBS the other night. The entire concert was incredible, but this was the standout performance of the night. Well done!!💖
I remember when you sang Kokomo at the Talent Show in grammer school. What were you - 3rd or 4th grade? Maybe even younger. And, while your voice hadn't matured yet, I knew you were destined for great things. This is one of my favorite songs, for we all MUST go the distance with our lives. xoxoxo Nick!
This is so great. You have grown so much. I have been a fan since I first discovered you online singing "Flight" at a cabaret. You have fans out there who have been routing for you throughout your journey. I feel like a proud Papa Bear. You sang "Flight" but yooou are flyyying! 👍💕🎉👍
Phenomenal. Doesn’t need flashy back up dancers or special effects or anything for a heartfelt performance(not that those shows are bad just different). The colour of the tones of his voice bring such emotion. Simply breathtaking.
Go the distance has so many renditions between the movie version (that is mostly instrumental) and the Bolton verison,(which he turned to more of a love song) I think this a good ballance of both... except i think he should have kept "it may take a lifetime but somehow I will see it through" instead of "but I'm never going back" cuss the next line line is "and I wont look back" which feels clunky/ redundant to me. But other than that its an amazing performance.
This look like some arrangement of the original music from the movie. Basically like the song, but dont like the singer, cuz dont have good voice, that can be seen on the long notes at the end of the song its just empty no sound at all. Next time change the singer !
His voice is gorgeous… but his phrasing… holding onto the notes a tad too long for my liking. Really beautiful voice, but comparing with Roger Bart is naturally to this guy’s detriment.
This guys voice sounds like he’s never experienced pollution before. So smooth.
Bahaha hahahahahahahaha lmao
😂
Lmaoooo that's so true
3:10 that audience member with the glasses who is absolutely jamming out is totally me on my couch rn 😅
How about the guy with his eyes closed, blissing out behind him?
I like this style of talk-singing. It's very classic Broadway theatrical to me.
3:42 Love how he’s looking at you like “Damn that man can SING 😳”.
What a gift! How fortunate to have such a beautiful tenor voice.
the first note had me in tears!! i have loved this song for soooo long, thank you for this gift! May you continue to sing for the rest of your life!

awesome!! I would also LOVE to hear Nic Rouleau singing "Part of Your World" one day

If he can perform this so this effortlessly, I’d me amazed to hear a challenge for him. This was absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful, Nic. Absolutely wonderful.
This is one of my favorite songs. I’d burst into tears live, omg. Tearing up just hearing this rendition 🥹
Nailed. Every. Note
Bravo on an amazing performance!
Sublime, controlled and done in his own way.
a voice that deserves to be immortalized as a golden age disney prince.
Bravo! Well done, that was so beautiful and strong! I loved seeing the audience so in the moment!
❤ Excellent performance Nic. Listening to an angel singing. 🎉 Salutations from coastal Mississippi 🧔👋
Nic Rouleau is the best! Encore!!!!!!!
Incredible! It's like this song was made for your voice. Amazing!
Fantastic! Just fantastic.
Lovely ! Beautiful voice!!!!!
My goosebumps have goosebumps! ❤

Daaaaamn, boy! SING THOSE NOTES! 🔥❤️🎶
Wow.
You've a very beautiful voice.
so good! and that ending!

That is fantastic
Reminds me of Brent Nicholson Earle of AREA and his run around America for AIDS awareness in 1986. "For the Love of Friends" is out on PBS stations.
And it all started at The Broadway Prince Party!!!!
WOW WOW WOW. BEAUTIFUL.
SO GOOD!
Nothing better than broadways men
Perfection ❤
TEARS 😢🥰🙌 AH MAZING
So beautiful ❤❤
Thank you for that!
Best job
Wow, I loved that
Very good performance Nic
This is an awesome performance! ❤
I ❤ your voice!
Perfect arrangement!
Perfect ❤
it would really be a blessing if I could sing half as good as this dude
오엠쥐... Absolutely breathtaking!!!! Bravo!!!!
Superb!
If only Gen Z could experience the old Disney like this was...
yoooo... this version is truly unreal. You sang the actual shit out of that.
Great shit, Nic
He sounds like the original from Disney animated version!!
NO! and thats why is so bad.
👏👏👏Bravo! 👏👏👏
Oh my...
WOW !;-)
Chills.
I think this is the most perfect version of this song. ❤❤❤❤
0:54 why it’s so incredible? 😊
I effing missed this! I thought my PVR records all concerts on PBS. Can we please put the whole concert on UA-cam?
Hopefully you'll upload more videos and also be active on Spotify. Already subsribed and followed
❤
Absolutely fantastic!
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good stuff!
Disney Prince! 😊
Masterclass
❤😂🎉
Wow. If she sounds this great here, I can only imagine her live.

😊
3:12 man in the top right corner notices the camera and looks right down the barrel
I always find it funny when Broadway performers hold microphones like that… 🤷🏻♂️😂
You remind me of the guy that played Elder Price in The Book of Mormon. idk it probably the face. And specifically the video for the 2012 Tony awards.
Same guy...
What version of the song is this? It’s not the movie or the Michael Bolton one unless I’m wrong
Is he the same guy from ANASTACIA?
ELDER PRICE!!!!!
I've often wondered how some people sing in their accents, I'm totally neutral
THE elder price
I thought this was former QB Matt Ryan at first
A stunning voice. Beautifully sung, and now a new subscriber. However, easy on the ‘r’ pronunciations. Looking forward to hearing more.
American R is really hard to be sung. Although my language (Indonesian) has R in it, I prefer to sing in British accent.
The lyrics seemed a bit clunky. 1:50 "Answers I lack... I'm never going back. And I won't look back"? I've never heard these before.
cole sprouse is pretty good
:)
It’s okay, he’s good. But the timing is a little off and the rising and lowering of his voice in parts is off. But the end is fantastic.
"I have off-in dreamed..."
Not the best but good....Hercules is a young boy not an average guy [ for this song ]. LOL

Why does he sound like a Brit making fun of an American accent?
Gay. Why so many gays?
❤😂🎉
Nice show, nic
