This is a year late, but there's something refreshing about the way you build towns and hubs. A lot of other minecraft builders i've seen over the years tend to treat it as a commercial thing, perfect down to where the villagers are allowed to walk and how many animals (ie. none) they'll have around. You, on the other hand, seem to be much more relaxed about it, leaving the villagers to pick up whatever jobs they want, walk wherever they want (even if it can be troublesome) and never actually trapping any of them anywhere. It's refreshing to see the so called villagers, the living beings of this world, being actually treated as such. Given homes, beds, a place to work and free range of the world that they were born into, not trapped into 1 block spaces and left to be forever standing while selling things. Your take in world construction and development is a breath of fresh air these days.
