The word replacement is literally just because simply saying the words death or suicide or any words like them in your video will instantly get you demonetized/suppressed/shadowbanned. It also affects actual news videos, as well.
Not the content of media. It was that the automod feature of a lot of services blacklisted (and still does to a degree) the written word so unalive was the work around.

I have also always been confused by the 1-1 replacement of one term with another for the same reason you are where it's almost disrespectful to the hypothetical people making the shadowbanning tools thinking they're so dumb as to not include the concept of aliasing and teach it a new word.

It depends highly on the content you upload too, gameplay content doesnt seem to be as regulated as a commentary channel would.

@@Baumi it's mostly in videos that have integrated subtitles, so mostly in shorts content.
