This is kind of what I'm after. Something comfortable, good enough up hills, long range, lightweight. Scooters are supposed to be limit 25km/h in my area so speed probably won't be an issue
I'm trying to decide between the Ninebot F40 or this one, the E-TWOW 2021 GT SE. Leaning more towards this one for the suspension & lower weight. I'll be in & around NYC. Any input ? Thanks in advance, great vids. I'd really like the Hiboy TITAN PRO but the weights putting me off. ✌
I'd get the ninebot. They are both small and likely to get rocked by the NYC streets. Ninebot costs less and I imagine you'll need the extra ground clearance. The etwow is very low to the ground.
Hi Ginger on wheels! Thank you for your informative content. I recently bought a wolf warrior and have off road tires. I’m looking for a fun place to ride off road in or around the Seattle area. Any suggestions? Thank you!
@Ginger On Wheels get the new GTS 2022. Im 160 pounds with gear and using my dragy i hit 0-15 mph in 3.82 seconds, 0-20 mph in 6.51 seconds and 0-25 mph in 10 seconds with a top speed of 30 mph. based of your 16 second 0-20 mph times the new one is way way quicker. for comparison i hit 0-25 mph in 9 seconds with the newer emove crusier and 8.5 seconds with my widewheel pro so its not far off. i dont expect you to get my times as im lighter but i saw many people who are the the 200 pound range are easily hitting 28 mph on this
Oh wow you're totally right. If you look at the 15-0 or 19-0 times they are wayyy faster. I really dropped the ball there. It was counting from the second it first hit 20mph instead of when it first started hitting the brakes.
its confusing as you can see on the data recorded, it says "14s" . Anyone would assume s = seconds. I calculated about 3 seconds on your stopping time, not 14 sec. lolz
Awesome review. seems like a great and smoother way to get about. Yourself.. Ben and Timothy recommend this so hard to ignore on my way to getting a Vsett 9+
For the record I do not recommend this over the vsett 9 unless you need something ultra compact. The 2" ground clearance and super small poppable tires make the etwow a no go for me @ 210lbs unless I just need to make a quick trip to the store down the road or something.
@@GingerOnWheels I appreciate that insight Ginger but I'm in a situation where I haven't got just my own shopping to do but also a family members and a few other outings and my area especially of late (closer to Christmas) is full of thieves and there is absolutely nowhere trustworthy enough to chain your scooter up I do love the Vsett 9+R but it will be as difficult as the stress Im having now to take it out and do a small shop gathering. Hey we have an Upgrade here (Spain) about this model, there is a Kit to convert this scooter to a Dual Motor, or just upgrade the Battery from 10Ah to 15Ah
Nice! If she buys one you can have her use my link in the description to support the channel ✌ As far as the Wolf front mud guard, there is a tiny Allen screw on the under side of the fender, right above the top of the tire. Go wiggle the fender while looking at the screws and you should find the culprit pretty easily.
I achieved 15 miles after subtracting from my gps some walking. 24 mph top speed (down hill), and 14.4 mph average. Full throttle just under half full distance (15 miles). Elevation gain was 356 ft. I weigh 220 lbs. Nice compact machine. No cruise control 👎🏻 Speedometer is off by a record 5-6 mph. I can only achieve 20-21 mph and then it slips down to 17-19 mph at around 60% battery level. Display console is ridiculous. It only indicates voltage at startup for a brief few seconds. Headlight is useless to see with. Rear taillight is good, but only works with electric brake, not with manual. The extra money for Bluetooth functionality is more a gimmick. There’s nothing useful other than the alarm. With that said, the alarm feature only works with scooter “on”. Once the scooter automatically turns off (😠), a person can push the scooter with no issue. However, once the power is turned back on, the scooter alarm and motor brake rolling resistance function reactivates. Very strange system to say the least. It’s a great little scooter besides those very annoying issues.
i own one and i recommend highly... the suspension is very effective. more power means more weight.. less portability... i am 220 with gear and she takes most portland hills no problem
