oooohhhhhh yes this was a baddie, the stench from the urine was eye watering. what a rich harvest of wet wipes, and a grand catch of drain cod and a rare sewer squid.
sorry guys the camera battery die on the clean up phase. (yes I did clean it up lol)
Totally gobsmacked by the mentality of some residents, like you said in the past if they don't listen to your advice on wet wipes you will keep turning up and collecting the money. Drain Squid love it.

Difficult one that Tony, but a job well done, baby powder for the sweaty hands helps the gloves slide on easily, used it all the time in the motor trade in summer.

Yes they are flushable in so much as they will flush but they are not bio degradable so they shouldn't be flushed.

Interesting video, Tony. You could make a "spray guard" for that operation. A piece of thin, rigid plastic sheet say 9" x 15" (or even a bit bigger) with a hole slightly bigger than the shaft on the hole cutter in the middle. Place it between the chuck and the hole cutter. Drill the hole in the stack in a position where the wall prevents the guard from wanting to spin round when you start drilling. This stops the water from shooting out horizontall and directs it generally down to the ground/sideways. It does stop most of it hitting the drill or the user.

I'd drill a decent sized pilot hole and leave to drain or get 3ft extension piece for the hole saw. Don't want to get covered in pee and poo if you can help it. But then I'm not a drain guy. Just a thought.

People who block drains with wipes should be charged Double for their ignorance and stupidity.

They say flushable on the packaging, even though they're definitely not okay to flush. The companies should get sued by towns for compensation for the money they've spent on repairs for damage that these wipes do, and private citizens should be able to sue for plumber bills they've paid for the damages wipes cause.
