    Apart from using natural glues, there is also method to glue it only with pressure/heat if i remember well... So in place of transforming a natural material into a future untransformable trash, you still can give it back to the soil after.

    I had been working in particleboard and MDF from 1992 till 2009 , as manager technical. In various countries, I.e. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Romania
    Still a lot to do, to increase profit .

    I bet if you use starch for glue its equally as strong, but its water sensitive, but im not an expert!!!

      Yeah, but after you can waterproof it with linseed oil, or whatever .. Also many natural glues resist better to water, like casein, tree resin, dandelion latex..
