  • This film shown on the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire Programme in November 2018 explains how SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) affects patients who are told they should not become pregnant after having a SCAD. Some patients have been told they may die if they proceed with a pregnancy, which can be devastating for them.
Dr Abi Al-Hussaini discusses her pioneering SCAD pregnancy clinic at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London, which aims to provide advice enabling patients to make an informed decision about post-SCAD pregnancy.
Thanks to all who took part in this film and to the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire Show.
