Aww friend I love you and thank you for sharing your journey and always being so authentic ❤ I hope you can vacation and enjoy your summer ! And my thought was if the journal police did come we would at least all be together and create and have the best criminal crafty sessions ever !!! 😂😂😂
I can 100% relate. Recently started perimenopause and the brain fog (among other things) is real. I can't keep up in my journal because I can't remember anything. Lol
This makes total sense to me! I have to do things to NOT think! So in my journals I decorate, I might write what I did that day in bullet form without ever going any deeper than that. I have just concluded that I am one of those people that are better off not dwelling on my thoughts in depth. So I get it! 💗
Pleased to hear your eye op went well - and your surgeon's right, take the sick leave you're entitled to take and get some rest! Love your approach to journalling and gluebookiing. I think sometimes people do forget that hobbies are meant to be fun! I almost never write about my feelings in my journal, because it just makes me uncomfortable and feels weird. I literally just write about the things I actually did with nothing about how I felt about it, and do a monthly page listing what books I've read and lists of what birds I've spotted in my garden. I was joking with my boyfriend the other day that when I'm dead and buried, historians will find my journals one day and think "Wow, this woman was devoid of all human emotions but fair play to her, she did get a lot of reading done in between buying washi tape and cutting weird shit out of magazines". My all-time best activity for distracting myself from my own thoughts when my anxiety's at its worst is gluebooking. colouring or jigsaw puzzles while listening to an audiobook, ideally with a massive mug of tea.
So happy to see another video from you! Glad your surgery went well! I can totally relate- sometimes my journaling is a lot of writing, sometimes it’s no writing at all, sometimes it’s painting, or collage, of glued in photos- it’s a little bit whatever I need at the time! Thank you for sharing!
Great video❤ Your new philosophy has been mine sine the beginning of 2023 and I absolutely the the freedom of creativity ❤️❤️ I had panic disorder up until menopause 😮 and after that everything is smoother. My daughter however is Autistic and we ride the anxiety roller coaster everyday. It can be very debilitating and yea you for talking the truth about living with it❤
Helloooo Holly! Just now getting a chance to watch your video! I love your rule about no rules… have fun my friend!!! I’m heading over to watch your previous video!

Love, love, love the realness and relatability of the non-journaling journey this past couple years. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Yay! Glad to spend time with you and as always you keep it fun and real.
