Could you make an in-depth combat guide? How it works, how can you customize your flotillas, tactics, how do the shord-medium-long range weapons work etc? There is absolutely zero guide about the combat system on ES2 on youtube, and i honestly have no idea what im doing. I usually just build long/mid range beam weapons, sometimes i add 1 short range weapon module, and hope for the best, but which tactic helps this build the most? i have no idea...

Thanks for your video on Endless Space 2. Very useful.
Here a question: I feel it takes a lot of time to conquest a system.
My manpower on board of my fleet is often the same of the system I want
to conquest. So I need to orbit around the system with my fleet for a
lot of turns to take their protections lower and to destroy their army
in the system. But to me it looks like too much long.
So I'd like to know if there is a faster way to conquest a system? Can
you give me any suggestions about this?

There is a support module that says 'loss of manpower while siegiing', which helps to reduce this time. I'm not entirely sure whether having more manpower actually decreases the sieging time, I'll have a look at that when I'm back from my worktrip

wait a sec, you say the unfallen ships can become nearly indestrucalbe if you go full defence, how so?
Someone notified me that there was a quest reward with this as the effect. Haven't gotten there myself yet.
