Nick D. and John Wooton are talking rudiments! What tip or trick did you pick up from these fantastic percussionists?
“Little things bring out the big things…”, I feel that quote applies to life in general. Very wise! Suave como mantequilla 👏🏼
What color is that drum 😊
"Focus on the small things, and the big things will get better" Love it!
pearl hands down the best marching snare on market new and Old
Great advice and inspiration for all drummers/percussionists young & old. John knows his stuff, humble and down to earth! You’re amazing as well Nick, thanks for helping put all this wonderful content out. God bless. 🙏🏻🤙🏻💙😇✨🎶🥁✝️
John is the kind of person that looks very high and dead serious at the same time.
Rudiments and technique very important but musicality as wel. I often hear drummers that are very technical but dont play musical. It then has a very clinical feel..
Absolutely great! Thanks to both of you! Now back to practicing!
That’s pretty darn amazing
Superb acting from Nick, nice technique from John. An entertaining video. Lots of excellent advice for drum students.
I thought Nick was Jon Lovitz at first.
Fantastic stuff John!
Better than drum line, just superb.
cool stuff more do singles with him please!!
Thank you.
Nice.
Marching snare, the loudest dB known to man.
Thanks, that was great!! Can anyone tell me what the rudiment at 1:18 was? because I badly need to go and practice that...
Looks like a mix of cheese inverts and cheese triplets
Can you post the music to the opening excerise he played?
The opening was Crazy Army, which I also played on the kit later in the video. Or are you talking about the second piece with all the visuals?
Wow...
Can I get the name of that drum wrap finish? I mean wow.
Wtf is that jumper, Nick ? :-D
🤘😁🥁👍
Krass
Rudiments take the fun OUT of fundamentals. I love playing drums. HATE practicing rudiments :(
