I invested in the best pencils I knew of and that's the Luminance set from Caran d'Ache. They truly are the best to blend and they have the best lightfastness there is. Nonetheless I am no professional traditional artist or anything but they were my lil gift to myself a few years back on my birthday. They never break and if they do break you get a life guarantee to swap out the single pencil that does break from where you bought it. I've never had to swap out mine after 5 years and I get not spending much money on art supplies but this set will last me so long and I can't find anything to complain about.

Oh, I did it yesterday, I saw a roller pencil case for all of my pencils, professional and unprofessional, and did a swatching test. Oh my, the children's pencils are as awful as ...... I can't even compare!

Your videos are always a joy to watch 😊😊 My favorites are the Super Tip Crayola Markers and the Kalour Colored Pencils. I think Crayola is a really good brand and as someone who enjoys quality products but has very little money, I think these markers are great! The colored pencils are from a brand that I recently learned about and I really really enjoyed using them! They felt more luxurious than Crayola pencils but for a very reasonable price! I got the 72 set ❤

my faves are Castle Arts (wax-based; 'gold' is oil-based) and Brutfuner (oil-based).
Ohuhu is a nice Copic alternative. the caps don't match the colors, but otherwise they are great.
