Don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it!
Today's video is comparing Cream VS powder contouring. I was watching jaclyn Hill's video latest video - Matte vs Highlight and was inspired to this comparision video because I've been a HUGE fan of cream contouring lately and thought I wonder why I've been into it vs powder! I hope you guys find this video helpful and I definitely encourage you to try it out too!

I think both sides look equally good! I have never tried cream contour, I think I will now! Thanks!

Definitely the powder looks better on you, slims your face immediately!

Yeah well, it looks more intense. I feel like powder contour looks the best on camera, while cream contour looks even more natural (irl) and "skinlike". I'm experimenting with it!

She doesn't shorten her forehead too much with the powder, like she does with the cream. That may be why her face with the powder looks slimmer.

so are you contouring on top of your foundation?
its confusing cause 1/2 the ppl say to contour before you apply it and others swear by putting it on after contouring..
when I try to use cream contour on top of my foundation, it not only is simply wiped off by my beauty blenders but it also wipes off the foundation underneath so then I just have a naked patch of bare skin. I hate it, so I wanted to try powder contouring and try doing it on top of my foundation. I don't know if that a thing lol im not too savvy with foundation (I have the fenty contouring sticks, maybe its just them?)

I’m not makeup expert lol I’ve seen various videos, and so far all of them apply foundation first and contour afterwards.

When it comes to cream on top of dried down foundation that happens to me too with cream contour! I am now experimenting with cream contour a bit and I feel like it works the best when the foundation isnt fully dried down yet and only make bouncing motions with the sponge or use a brush lighthanded and bounce over the sides / all of it again with the brush or sponge you blended the foundation with! But I will also try using the cream contour before applying foundation, I do already think this will give a waaaaay lighter effect but you can always (after setting the face quickly with some translucent powder) go over it with a light contour powder (would recommend being very light handed then) 🤓🤷🏻‍♀️ hope this somewhat helped...

Contouring Instructions: Begin with you regular beauty routine. Make sure to use moisturizer, primer, liquid foundation, and concealer before you begin to contour. For best results, DO NOT USE POWDER FOUNDATION OR CONCEARLERS BEFORE CONTOURING WITH CREAM MAKEUP.

wow very cool!! I loved Jaclyn’s matte vs dewy video! I have the Anastasia cream contour kit but I never use it because I’m so oily, but I might compare it with the KVD contour palette and see how i like it! Hope you’re doing well Kayla! xoxo

Wet n wild brand. You can find at Walgreens or dollar general. The one I use is called "call me maple" but they have a lot of shades to select
