Son français est impeccable! À chaque fois que j'entends quelqu'un qui n'est pas francophone chanter cette chanson, il y a un accent immense qui gâche tout. Pas cette fois! Bravo!
Her french is impeccable! Whenever I hear someone (who's not french) sing this song, there is a huge accent that ruins everything. Not this time! This is just amazing.
MyBrokenPast Dorota admited that she didn't know a word in French and she learnt this song phonetically for the programme, not knowing completely what she was actually singing! It speaks even better for herself how extremely talented she is!
+barozra In Polish we have many French sounding words so I think the French accent isn't so hard for Poles. That's my guess.
+MyBrokenPast Yes, she said she loved that song before she sang it during the show, but she never looked up what is it about as she preferred to listen to emotions in the song and imagine what is it about. She also added she was a little disappointed after reading the translation, as she imagined it to be a bit deeper.
+Commander Bond the opposite is not true at all.I love learning foreign languages and Polish is the most difficult language I have tried to learn especially pronunciation.

I know that Polish people, including me can easiely imitate French accent and French vowels and sound pretty convincing with it while with English it's completely opposite, most of Polish people have very bad accent speaking English.

I have to listen to this and Calling You regularly to survive, and they still give me tears after all this time. There is no other voice like this, she puts something in them that I can't explain and I have heard no one else be able to put it in them.

@Zoned 247 Totally agree (sorry only discovered her recently) she is amazing! Natalia nearly broke my damn headphones with that beginning screech on her audition. I could not believe she won it over Dorota. After watching it all, I just 'felt' Dorota's songs more if you know what I mean. I was crying at the end of her audition and had no idea until I felt my tears, I didn't get anything near that with Natalia; but I suppose it's a matter of taste. I was just really surprised.

to niewyobrażalny wstyd, że ona nie zwyciężyła w tym konkursie. Coś niebywałego poprostu. Coś co bardzo złą ocenę wystawia nam Polakom. Ktoś taki za granicą z takim śpiewaniem byłby gigantyczną gwiazdą, a u nas Dorota ciągle puka do drzwi obijając
się o miernoty i chamów. Pamiętam ten konkurs aż za dobrze, bo kiedy
pierwszy raz usłyszałem jej utwór - płakałem. jednak chyba chamy zwane
publicznością nie mają uszu. Uznano, że Dorota "jedzie" na swojej wadzie
wzroku i wzmożył się hejt, który ostatecznie zatopił kogoś kto był
