Yes. Probably the best clean tone ive ever heard recorded on youtube. John mayer live sounds like this in the PA, incredible tone live. This is up there 🎉

Thank you for an outstanding review and some truly great tones and playing! You left no stone unturned and answered any and all questions anyone could possibly have about this beautiful beast!
When I think of ideal Dumble tone …it’s what you’re getting with this AN. All the guitars are literally dripping with d-tone. I’ve (sort of) sworn off getting any more medium-high power amps but this demo has me rethinking things lol. Congrats on a wonderful demo video and to Amplified Nation for designing this amp.
I have a Two Rock TS1. While it is very good, I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite amp. I may look into one of these for sure. What cab/speaker option did you get? (And did you mic the cab for this video?) Thanks!
I listened to this through my UA Apollo, Kali Monitors at 30% on the dial and it sounded truly amazing. I heard him dial in; Robben Ford, SRV, AC/DC, Larry Carlton and others. Amp Nation has since changed the name for some reason (copyright conflict no doubt), To the Phoenix Fury. I plan on getting one. Closest thing to Robben Ford's Dumble I've heard.
I just got my Wonderland Overdrive 50 watt head a cab. Your videos are the best out there but the sound and feel still blew me away. These amps have to be experienced to truly appreciate. I’ve owned many high end boutique amps and this one does it all. I was nervous at first because I knew I had to sell a couple of amps and maybe something else to make up the difference. And in my mind, waiting for it to start to second-guess myself. Now that it’s here, I would never even consider plugging into anything else with this app sitting beside it. It’s all I’ll ever need and I’ll probably be tearing apart, my paddleboard and selling most everything. I will not keep any overdrives. The only thing I can imagine using is the strymon trem and delay. I reworked them into the effect loop and they sound amazing but then when we rehearsed and play the gig, I never even clicked either on the amp just sounds that good in the mix I’ve never felt like I’ve had so much control over every nuance. Thank you for these videos And thank you to Taylor Cox for such a wonderful amp. On a sidenote, I see now that the Amp may be more important than the guitar for sure. My (Mexican) Strat which was my 1st guitar still feels and sounds amazing through this amp. It’s worth every penny when you consider how much these custom shop guitars are.
3:12 reminds me so much of an old JTM45 clone I once customized (an NZ Jansen Gunn 45 head) - it had an insane 800 VDC on the two EL34 power output tube plates, the dynamic range and harmonics were ridiculous.
Great sounding amp, hope to check one out one day! Starting to realize there really is no “better” or “best” when it comes to gear, what it’s really about is preference
By far the best demo Ive seen of an AN amp. I truly would love it if Taylor got you to demo all 7 of his amps, cause I'm having a hell of a time deciding which one Id buy when i can. That's an arsenal of an amp and very powerful and awesome sounding one, congrats on both the head and the cab, hooefully will hear it in demos again soon, till next Wednesday, cheers from Byblis, Lebanon.
I bought their ODR and the WOD captures for the QC and am smitten. I like the WOD for the gainy sounds and the ODR for cleaner tones. An old Tele or a modern axe with active Fishman Fluence pups, any pickup position, anywhere on the neck, any style, through monitors or an FRFR cab, they sound amazingly clear, expressive, and balanced. I didn't even need any high or low cut. A suggestion for folks using humbuckers or hot P90s looking for the clean and edge of breakup tones you hear in the video: dial back the gain on the capture to your desired level and you get a perfected pushed blackface sound. Coil tap also can help get there. Thank you, Paul!
Im going to bite the bullet on one of these two..fantastic sound - without trying them both, its very hard to pull the trigger on one. Ive gotta ask, what is your preference between the ODR and the WOD?
That's frighteningly good, Paul! I am sure that all your guitars sound very different too, with that amp. That mid switch, and the boost, are killers. The Gretsch had a particular ring to it that was stunning. (Despite the extra pedals.) Not that anything other than a vibe or delay is needed!!
I've never felt a significant difference between real amps, digital amps, or modelers as long as the demonstrators are The Rats Studio, everything feels the same... but I still like this content, it's very informative.
