What if they throw that punch correctly, without stepping forward with their right foot? If anyone is uncertain what a "correct" straight right or right cross looks like, there are hundreds of YT tutorials. Im really curious if Aikido has an answer to the boxer's 2 and if so, what the answer is. Thank you.
@@MP-db9sw the only my answer is facing with a boxer! I did it on so many jab and cross ! Exactly same technique! Besides we are tenshin aikido not other aikido fancy dancy moves
I would love to train with this guy if he was in the US. Theres only one direct student of seagal in Sacramento area that I know of ,but I can’t reach him to ask if he still teaches.
Is unrealistic the way is applied. First, you have to take care of the possible one-two combination by the attacker. Second, you do this by striking with an atemi o punch to the attacker's face, using this as a distracción to prevent the one-two strikes from the attacer. Then, you can apply ikkyo, which means first technique. Nikyo, second technique. And so on.
@@irantenshinaikido You did just fine. A classic "attack the attack, not the attacker". I have never been a big fan of trying to catch punches or kicks. It does not seem user friendly.
@@irantenshinaikido Bet you'll never do a video of it working in sparring.. Only works against somebody you tell to leave their arm sitting out like that lol
@@Dan0rioN Ok i dont care you or any other keyboarb champs talk nonsense! I and my students used all these on real fight! Really wish to meet like you to taste the pain
Finally, the true application without fluff. Thank you Sensei.
