Amazing video, thank you so much for sharing. I love how you strived to learn from the locals and truly appreciated the islands. Wishing you many more beautiful trips!
I'm considering a doing a trip to these islands if I'm ever in Panama, and I'm so grateful that you posted this video. Pretty much all the other vloggers just show the beaches and water, but you're the first one who actually showed the process of getting there, and showed the locals and souvenir stands. I know what to expect now if I take a day tour. I saw a lot of people online complain about the tour being disorganized, and it certainly seems that way. There definitely needs to be better communication between the drivers, tourists and the boatmen.
@@JackTravels I ended up doing the day trip. It wasn't AS bad, but was still a little messy. Our driver said the car would be in the same place when we get back, and it wasn't. In my case the disorganization was more with getting people back to Panama City. We saw one family get ditched then charged an additional $100 for a driver to take them back to Panama City. Our driver left us and another group waiting for like 2 hours, 'cuz he decided he needs to give a ride to another group coming back from the islands. Our car was literally the last one to leave, then when we stopped at the gas station, he asked if we want to switch to another car to get to our hotel faster😂 We had the same problem getting back from the Embera village. The other people that were in our boat group had left with our boatman and we were still there, because there was another guy in our tour who was taking pictures of villagers, and our guide decided to be buddy buddy with him and let him and dictate the tour. Panama had the most disorganized tours I've ever taken. Getting to the destinations was fine, but they seemed in no hurry to get people back. 😂
ok, I rolled it back I see you still had to pay the border fee, what about the port fee-is it included and what is the total price of everything, who did you book with? LAst question, when did you go-like the time of the year? Thanks in advance
Loved this video. Thanks so much for sharing! I'll be going there in a few weeks, and this got me so excited. Beautiful quote at the end, too!

It definitely was unorganized and very chaotic. San Blas is very beautiful but when you land on the port it can be overwhelming 😅😅😅
