Absolutely gorgeous, Sean. I love the way you process your pictures. Very handy, very simple and, especially, awesome results. Thank you very much for sharing the pictures to practice. Regards
Another great insight. I've done this before without using smart objects but now better understand why / when I should consider using smart objects in my workflow. Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant. The first part was exactly what I was struggling with after a windy shoot out at the coast. I sort of managed it but in a much more complicated way.
They are just variations on a similar method. The main difference is that Smart Orton uses a smart object and adjustment layers so you have the ability to fine-tune the blur, contrast and exposure and the other one does not. The smart Orton also applies some clarity to help bring back blurred detail, and this is also adjustable.
Excellent. Thank you Sean for providing this video on youtube. Does your new 'Smart Objects' course go into the exposure blending as shown in this video more in depth?
Your work just keeps getting better and better!
Man...glad I found your channel. Really enjoying these videos...
Great tutorial, Sean.
Love the video and the shirt. :-)
You make the process look so easy Sean! Thanks for sharing
You just helped me with the light in the lighthouse window along with stacking. Thank you for this help!
You are the best Sean.
Beautiful work.

Excellent teaching I love to learn from you sir
Thank you 🙏🏻
Great video as always, Sean, bringing excellent content and tips for us to improve our skills. Thanks a lot!
Very welcome Paulo! :-)
Number Number One Sean 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great concept. THe sprite I think the land is showing behind it is a tad darker. However the image is super.
Definitely would continue to tweak the masking and the layer adjustments to get everything to blend imperceptibly.
Thank you sir , Vert helpful .. 🙏🏻
Does doing it this way give me a better chance of not getting halos ?
Yes
A totally unrelated question. Can you explain the difference in Orton and Smart Orton on TK7? When would you use one versus the other?

You make it look so easy! My masks look like a first grader finger painted them 😂.
Practice, grasshopper!
@@SeanBagshaw haha. But my bikes get very jealous if I spend too much time at my computer and not riding them.

Thanks! Yes, it does, John. I believe there are 5 chapters showing different variations on this same idea.

Haha! So interesting! 😁
