For tubeless tyres, right angle valves exists. For tyres with tubes there is other models of fillers for your compressor that works. But if you need to fill on a gas station this is a good solution.

Been working on motorcycles my whole life I am 100 positive that they are fine. When I change the pads less than a week ago I put my micrometer on the caliper and took readings it is 100% good to go still. It is still smooth though it has some thermal lines it is still smooth and not warped.
