I am an ICU nurse that is binge watching UA-cam. You came up in my recommended videos . I subscribed just because of your beautiful intro. I am a LA girl, living in CA . God Bless you and your family for thinking about your neighbors. I will continue to watch!
My friend has 7 children. 2 who are older and have kids of their own and are staying with her so 7 plus 2 grand babies. She had to stock up on toilet paper, wipes, and formula and couldn’t find anything. She regrets not stocking because she was worried about what people would say in the store. Stock what your family needs and don’t worry about what people will say. When I found tp. I bought some for my elderly neighbors who couldn’t find any.
We have always been told we should be prepared to shelter in place for two to three weeks. We all just thought that was silly. We can always just go to the store. This is a wake up call.
So glad to see people with common sense. I’m sick of seeing people whining about the empty stores. This thing has been on TV for weeks now, and if people didn’t have the foresight to have stuff on hand before, they could have seen the warning signs on gone out when they saw it. Do I feel bad for people who can’t get stuff? Of course. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t responsible for their predicaments. I’m glad people are getting a wakeup call. I’ve seen more and more people saying preppers don’t look so crazy now.
Jennifer Marcil yes. I had to buy for my family as well as my Nana and my mom. I only bought what I needed. If the shelves were scarce, I only took a couple so that others would have.
My mom is 81 and has diabetes, so she's been pretty much confined to her home so I had zero guilt buying for her. I don't understand the panic buying of toilet paper, lol this is a respiratory virus! We've told our elderly neighbor that we'll help in any way we can. One lady asked me for some flour, then turned around and made a HUGE batch of biscuits and we had a breakfast "block party" with three other neighbors! We had the eggs, another family had meats, it was delicious and a LOT of fun!!
You're such a sweet mom, buying your kids their favorite foods. It's nice that you buy your daughter special food that's just for her that's vegan too.
OhVanessa your heart is so big for you to be thinking about helping your neighbors. You're super kind. You know all of us should be like you and think about others. Bless your heart💕
For those saying they're only buying whats needed and then shaming others. Good for you. Do what YOU feel is best. I bought a tad more than I needed. My parents were unable to get out as they both work, so I took to them from what I had. An elderly neighbor in my community did not feel comfortable going out and is low income, so I shared with her as well. I'm grateful that I could share, and I will keep sharing bc that is what is needed right now. Stop with the judging and shaming and focus on your own. Now is not the time for negativity. Now is the time for us to stick together. We will get through this!
I am from the DFW area in Texas and I work in the grocery industry and we have been working non-stop I have 56 hours this week and still have 2 days to go.. I appreciate you asking everyone to be nice.. I am dealing with people who are panicking and taking it out on use for not having toilet paper or water for example. We restock nightly and the shelves are emptied within a few hours of opening and we are limiting the amount of items each person can purchase of one essentials so everyone has a chance to get the items.... Keep strong..
I have learned, I hope, to have a good supply as "emergency " on hand. This last month or so of trying to shop my pantry/freezer was good and needed but now (today) was not a good time to need just regular groceries. Soooo glad I did have backup pack of tp. Now that is pot of gold at end of rainbow. 😄 I live in Virginia. God bless everyone during this scary path we are walking.
That is the meaning if kind in these times. I could not believe she said "Be kind..." at the end. It was not kind to take away fom others. Vanessa you were panicing and going with the mob mentality.
Debra Coder have you seen Vanessa’s normal grocery hauls? I think if you did you’d see that this shop wasn’t much different. A few things extra but nothing outrageous for her. Whether people agree with her typical shopping practices isn’t relevant.
REN S, yes I have. She even mentioned stocking up on her supplies, adding to them more than normal, didn't she? It just seemed outrageously overboard to make sure her family would have whatever they might want with no thought for anyone else. It's the attitude of a lot of the younger generation. I have been purchasing my normal supplies, taking one, so others can buy also. This is the only negative comment I have written in my life & I am entitled to my opinion. I felt disgusted with the abundance when finished watching that video. So much so, that I unsubscribed.
I like to help others as well. Yesterday I seen a Mother and 3 kids walking by and I told her that if she ever needed anything to eat for her and her babies that my door was always open. She was a complete stranger but I want to help others. It’s what we’re supposed to do. I’m baking bread to hand out if we should have a shortage also. Kids gotta eat. I don’t care who’s kids they are. I will always feed little children. ♥️♥️
This was a great video! I love that you're honest with what youfeed your family. Kids are kids and they like kid friendly foods and in my book there is nothing wrong with that! you're doing a great job!
This is the first time I have watched your channel. You're a great parent. This is great haul for your family. Everyone has their own opinion. You have to do what's good for your family. Great job!
What a sweetheart you are! Very wise words from a very caring person! And you did a great job in shopping for your family! A good mixture of fun snacks with healthy, nutritious foods! What a great mom and a super sweet woman you are! Love your channel!
Yes please be nice....especially to store employees. I work in a LARGE Walmart super center in the infants department. Our store is completely out water, meats, canned goods, toliet paper, paper towels, any antibacterial anything and all types of wipes. Yesterday I went back and forth when one of our trucks came in and pulled off the pallet all wipes.....and immediately took my cart out to the floor and could barely get to the shelves to stock and people were grabbing the items off before I could take them out of their boxes. People have gotten very nasty BUT there were a scarce few who truly were kind and civil. Many dont realize that it is NOT associates fault that the shelves are empty. The trucks are coming just not fast enough to meet the demands and alot of the distribution centers are being wiped out as well. It just breaks my heart that moms and dads come in for their babies wipes and we have none. And they can't even get paper towels to use to make their own with the baby wash. Anyways glad I have always prepped even if it has had to be 5 dollars extra a month on dollar store items. Stay safe folks♡
Tammy Lynne Styles I really understand. You stay safe cause Walmart is crazy right now. I have a ton of baby wipes but only because my daughter and niece are pregnant and each pay check I get a box. I told my daughter I feel bad using the baby’s wipes but she laughed and said “mom the baby’s not here yet and we are... the baby’s poop and pee is being taken care of!” Hopefully that makes you smile. Good luck!!
I’m in Australia where preparing for things to go wrong just isn’t a thing unless you live in really regional areas. Great haul. I was overwhelmed shopping/stocking up for me and my very under prepared house mate... you have done so well for your family :)
That is so true we tend to assume that it's all for their personal use.. I have always kept a stock of paper products all my life. Being a girl guide you learn to be prepared 😂. Stay safe and keep well.. From Scotland 🏴 UK 🇬🇧
Jean Vignes You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars. You only need to spend what it would take for you to feel secure for two or three weeks. Starting the next time you go to the store, buy an extra can or box of some non perishable food that you use and start building an emergency supply. When TP is back on the store shelves buy an extra pack and put it with your emergency supplies.
@@kareninva7097 You're so right not everyone can afford to buy an extra this or that to start an emergency stockpile and not to mention extra space to store it!!
Yes my mom has 6 kids. She knew that each kid needed toilet paper and napkins for there families so she went to Sams and bought 7 of each and people were so mad at her but the point is that she wasn’t hoarding she was buying it for 7 different families.
I definitely agree with you, because now I'm hearing that when people go grocery shopping and if they have a full shopping card, they get evil stairs but the people do not realize they may have a large family, and they're trying to shop for enough to do their family, it doesn't mean they're hoarding they're just trying to survive
Thanks for the encouraging words to help others,i cannot afford monthly hauls right now,but the littel i have, i share.Thank you may God contine to bless your family daily.
We dip those pretzel chips in artichoke and asiago, hummus, guac, cottage cheese, and sometimes warm caramel , melted chocolate, or yogurt. So good, so versatile.
I agree, we never know how many people someone is buying for. I overheard a lady say she has 10 ppl in her home right now due to job loss. Obviously, she needs more than a family of 4. Being prepared is the way to be!!
sortathesame Ummmmmm. Some people lost their jobs months ago and their parents took them in. So, yes she’s feeding 10 ppl now bc she and hubby still have 2 high schoolers at home plus now have older son with wife and four small children. Yes, they have new employment by now but are still unable to move out. Unemployment happens everyday NOT just during a pandemic. Grow up!
We don’t have a Costco local near me but I can’t wait to get a sams membership I’m a small family of three but certain things I do still need from there and I know having it is totally worth it so I’m excited about that
This is a dumb thing to comment about but I only learned recently that candles can suck the oxygen out of rooms. So be careful to only light them in bigger rooms/open spaces. Especially if all of you are home and breathing up more oxygen in the house than normal. Never knew it was a thing until recently. Stay safe! Thanks for the video
how are people saying you’re hoarding? This literally is what i buy on a regular. I probably have more food than this in my house currently before even shopping. I haven’t done any hoard shopping because I have enough - your shopping is completely rational! Makes no sense to me how anyone is mad at this video. The god damn toilet paper shit, so stupid. I have my period right now and can’t find any. I’m using facial wipes. Like really? I’m sure that’s great for genitals.... I hate people who truly are hoarding and not looking how for others. It’s not the zombie outbreak.
I’m in Australia and we are having the same hassles and TP is like gold, tissues are two boxes only li it. Other grocery items are limited to rice, flour, water etc just crazy. I am always quite well stocked in my Freezer and Pantry but do admit have stocked a little more just in case. Even online deliveries are restricted and delivery slots are nearly non existent.Costco here is struggling with TP, paper towels, wipes, rice, sugar, flour too.
not only a delivery spots hard to get they have removed free delivery I never pay for delivery as my groceries are over the threshold but not any free delivery this fortnight
kalinda I never pay for delivery either. I also had a few substitutes which is normally fine but I ordered Birds Eye Chinese Stir Fry and it got substituted for Harvest vegetables not any other Stir Fry also I was quite a few things missing, mainly frozen, from my Friday order, to many to be honest but Woollies were fine with redelivery but no slots available till Monday 3 - 6pm...just crazy considering my order was Friday.I keep hoping Aldi will start home deliveries I think the other stores need that extra competition but holding my breathe. I’m not going over board on stocking up because I’m pretty welled stocked freezer/pantry wise but it’s early days yet and makes me wonder how things will be in a few months. Feeling for people who cannot afford to buy extra if on a fixed income and living from week to week also the elderly and disabled. Just hope people can be kind.
Just wanted to tell you I think u r a VERY nice woman. This time in our world too many folks who r so rude & even volatile because they r scared about the seriously unstable condition our world is in with the whole pandemic but that's NO EXCUSE for the unchristian way folks r acting. YOU'RE SO SWEET offering to help folks in your area. You should be proud of yourself. I don't know what your religion is but I know your kiddos are watching & listening to u and u are a GREAT example to them. God bless u hun. As a Christian mother to 5 kids & Nana to 13 sweet little ones they look to us for guidance SO CONGRATS TO U. GOD IS SMILING ON U I'M SURE. GOD BLESS U & UR FAMILY.
My family and I stocked up, but then after I felt so guilty about it because I started thinking about the homeless and the hungry... so I began donating... it’s not fair that I get to stock up and hide while others suffer.
Shopping at Costco and Sam's Club can be tricky, if you're not aware of price per unit. Hands full of items are cheaper at wholesale store, same rule goes to regular grocery store and specialty stores. Just know how much you consume and where you get it at. Great haul, btw!!
Wishing you and your family happiness and health.♥️ I am in Canada and they have closed all schools, daycare, libraries and community centers. Our government has advised that they don't want us to worry about any payments and I received an email from my bank advising if our work places close..mortgage payments will be suspended. So proud of my county's response. Hydro and gas companies have also sent out statements. Lol..we to are without toilet paper but I did my Costco haul about a week ago and got my monthly supply.
I understand all the craziness that is going on. I live in PA and in my area everyone is going crazy. I can't find potty paper either,I did find what I could on Amazon but with that I have to wait until next month because my mom who gets SSI and Social security along with my hubby,he gets social security disability,it's hard when you have a little bit of money and can't get want you need. Plus this whole thing doesn't help my anxiety. Hope everything goes well for you and your family. 🍋
I know several elderly who live on around $500 a month social security and they have MONTHS worth of supplies on hand. Hopefully people will start preparing in advance now instead of waiting until the last minute. Use coupons, shop sales, do buy one, get one free deals, whatever it takes, but slowly build up a stockpile so if things like this happen in the future, you already have what you need, thus no anxiety.
I find it cheaper to have the necessary items that are found in Midol & just take them seperately. The Midol Complete is just 500mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol), 60mg of caffeine & 15mg of pyrilamine maleate (antihistamine.) I buy the Equate (Walmart brand) Tylenol & an antihistamine. Midol is crazy expensive!! I live in GA & we just had our first confirmed Corona Virus case in my county on Thursday. The school system immediately decided to close until March 27th. I do worry for some of these kids & the strain of parents trying to figure out who's going to watch their children during the unexpected break. I'm blessed to be a SAHM & my girls have been homeschooling for the last 3 years. We all need to be working together & not against each other during this time of uncertainty. I wish I could help everyone as there doesn't seem to be a lot of options for those that need it right now.
I just found your channel recently so I’m going through older videos. I really enjoy your videos and really loved that you stocked up for your dogs too, I did the same. I was so surprised so many people did not think about their pets 😐 So glad things have gotten a little better and we can all get toilet paper regularly again!!!!
You're such a good mom for buying vegan options for your daughter. When I went vegan at age 15, my mom was anything but supportive. Paige is lucky for a mom like you.
You got a lot of really good food items. Our schools in Georgia are closed for 2 weeks so far. Looks like your stocked up which is good. Stay well and safe. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed your video. We are also experiencing the same situation and toilet paper is one of them. You are right everyone’s situation is different. I don’t have the space to stock up. I liked the way you think about being prepared always. I always like and laugh with you when you have to tell yourself that’s enough Vanessa, I do the same thing and I also buy on my impulses also. It’s hard not to at times. Hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.
I bet you have more space than you think. Be creative. Use the space under the bed, couch & chairs. Under your dining table in the middle & have your chairs out a little more from the table. Use the bottom of you closets & stack your shoes are whatever on top. You can stack boxes of stuff on top if one another & then throw a cloth on top & make it look like a table. Who cares if it doesn't look pretty. You are preparing yourself with sustenance for times like these.
It is crazy here too and they have closed our schools for the next 3 weeks. We tried to get some shelf stable items and meat for our freezer. It was so hard to find toilet paper and paper towels here. We also have some stores altering their hours. Thanks for the different ideas. I already got what we need in case the stores close but I still got some ideas. I have tried to have a little more patience with everyone when I have to get out
Vanessa, thank you for being such a decent human being. I'm one of the many folks that DONT have the income to stock up for me and my teenage daughter , I only received monthly income and I don't have family or anyone to ask. People are so ridiculous with there attitudes and hatefulness. I saw people on posting a right between older women at a Sam's club over toilet paper. It got very physical which is ridiculous. I had made a comment on another UA-cam channel about the fact that so many of us don't have the money to self isolate and stock up and what about kids whose only meals are at school. How will the parents pay for daycare and work if theycan. It's a mess. Anyway someone commented back to me and basically cussed me out saying I should stop begging and get a job. I was mortified because I'm disabled. People are at their worst right now. I thank you for telling people to be kind, and mindful that not everyone in the world is blessed, or has family to depend on. I love seeing what everyone is buying. It's actually interesting to see what people find necessary. Thanks Vanessa. Stay safe and healthy, have fun with the family.
Valerie Knauber I’m sorry you were treated like that. Some people are just nasty. I said the same thing the other day. Some of these kids only meals are at school. It’s truly sad. Don’t worry about the haters. Have a good night.
@@ellenlimongello8042 thank you for being kind. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic disorder and believe me this hole corona virus thing has it on overdrive. I'm just praying God will make a way for me and my daughter. Stay healthy and safe my new friend. Have an amazing weekend.
Valerie Knauber your welcome. I hate when people attack other people. Especially online. They don’t know who their responding to and what their situation is. And don’t worry Everything will be fine !
@@valerieknauber2149 Oh bless you - I can imagine how hard this is for you! I have anxiety, but mine seems to be fairly mild, and I only tend to obsess and get anxious about things other than health issues, oddly enough. I was saying this to my husband earlier, about those on limited incomes that can't afford to stock up for a month or more. We don't have a lot of money, because I am not able to work, but at least we were able to get the basics to get us through, no extras, but we won't starve! Check around in your area, there may be places collecting donations and distributing to those in need.
@@2Blessed we live in a small town in Mississippi where we have absolutely no food banks or any public resources. The biggest town is 30 minutes away and our mayor said that if you can get there they will help with some canned goods and a few other small items. Our local salvation army has made a statement about not being able to help with food or supplies because we had tornadoes a month or so ago and they haven't had the donations that they normally get to aid. Who knows. I just pray we make it through. Our small little town isn't the friendliest either. Most people are all about self. We stay to ourselves here. Well nice chatting with you friend. Stay safe and healthy
Yeah same problem I was thinking I didn’t need to stock up because I had stuff but now because I have very limited time outdoors I find that we were in need of stuff luckily outside communities have helped a lot of people in this situation
Why buy things to donate when there is people looking for the same thing in the store at same time...I mean I would stock pile but in this situation I would make sure if someone in line needed some I would share...not on tissue but food as well
Im also a family of 6. I usually shop weekly because thats what works for us..however this time i spent $800 on canned goods and non perishables at 3am at walmart. We dont have a costco or sams nearby so buying in bulk is kinda hard. I also had to stock on some meds and things. Luckily i got toilet paper before it was completely gone
I love how you thought of the books in case no school. My grandkids schools are cancelled starting Monday for 2 weeks as of friday. We're in Pennsylvania. I have to say as far as your order I think in no way do you look like your hoarding you have a pretty big family to feed. I was really impressed with your choices. I shopped Friday and that was just for myself I feel outside of snacks we chose some similar items of course much less volume for me lol. Really good video Vanessa! Stay safe and healthy and good luck on your quest for toilet tissue and tylenol 💖 try an office supply store for toilet tissue also lowes or home depot if you have one near. Oops forgot to high five🖐
Outs schools are closed in PA for 2 weeks and schools set up online access and printable worksheets, also youtube specials classes. If you close down there I'm sure they will do the same since the 2 weeks will be counted in the 180 days needed. Hang in there and be safe!
My son has a cat and in the morning she sits on the windowsill and then speaks “where’s my snack’ lol she gets a small handful of temptations (chicken is her favourite lol). Love your channel and please you and your family stay safe and well 😀
I'm in south Texas (Rio Grande Valley) and we just started our spring break on 3/16. Schools are not closed here yet! My advantage of where I live is that we were able to go to Mexico and buy plenty of medicine, Rubbing alcohol for DIY hand sanitizer and all our cleaning supplies..Our stores here are practically empty too😞😟🤦♀️
Oh man lady! I just found your channel! This world has gone crazy! I haven’t ventured to a monthly meal plan yet but often do two weeks at a time! I’m all for being prepared but people are going bizerk! We have a family of eleven and had no baby wipes or toilet paper! Thank God my mom found us some today! Hooray! God bless you!
Just FYI, Midol is just Tylenol or acetaminophen (plus a very little diuretic). I believe it’s equitable to two extra strength Tylenol. So in a super pinch, you could use that if needed to bring a fever down. Or you could save tons of $$ by just buying generic acetaminophen instead of Midol, unless you really need the diuretic to reduce bloat.
Very true. I worked Walgreens for a long time. Often when i would stock the shelves, i would read the ingredients in the drugs. Its all the same. Just like zquil and othet sleeping medicine is just benadryl. The company's market it different to increase profits.
I still advocate for pantry/freezer challenges, maybe think of a way to have some stock set aside so you know you're using your old stuff first. In my experience they really do help in making sure things don't expire.
Allyson D I live in a mobile home with a cabinet bought at a store for a pantry. I already don’t have a large stock of stuff. So my point was if I did a challenge to “clean out” it would wipe out any stock I had and then if something like this hit in the middle of it we might not be able to find food. We don’t all have massive pantry’s, basements, food rooms or garages to store large quantities. 😬
I am so glad you said what you said, everyone is calling people out for hoarding and they do not understand the circumstances for which they are shopping. I myself have two adult children that do not live with me and know that their financial situation is that they cannot afford to stock up that much food and paper products for themselves and we have an extended family of people that we have always helped in time of need and so therefore I have had to go out and do quite a bit of shopping and people may have wanted to call me One of those hoarders not knowing my situation. So I just wanted to say that I so much appreciate what you said it was beautifully said and it really means a lot when you feel like some people understand what you were feeling. Please stay safe keep your family safe and we all need to keep our focus on prayer because right now that is where we will find our strength.❤️🙏🏻
Great video were doing another low spend month and did groceries beginning of the month and now we ate on self isolation for 2 weeks as hubbies co workers kids are sick and went to school with Trudeau's kids whose wife has coronavirus so he's teleworking next 2 weeks. We're good might run out of sourcream and milk but I have alternatives. Our March break starts this week and then schools are closed for 2 weeks afterwards and our government here in Canada is shutting down the airports telling people to get home while they can :(. No fun escapes for March break around here. Our city mayor told everyone to work from home if they can and to self isolate and practice social distancing. Lots of love from Kanata a suburb of Ottawa Ontario Canada
I’m from Washington state and the schools are closed for 6 weeks! I started planning for this shortly before we found out yesterday! It’s insane right now!
Having a c section in 5 days and I wanted to stock up on oatmeal, cereal, peanut butter, and a few other staples but it was all gone. People also had packs and packs of water and I could only find a 6 pack. 😞
Good luck with your C-Section. Please, in the future, stay prepared with 30+ days of food and supplies AT ALL TIMES. The reason so many people are panic buying is because people spend a bunch of money on stuff that’s useless and then panic when something like this happens. Whenever you go to the store, buy something to put back and not touch for emergencies. An extra pack of toilet paper, and extra tube of toothpaste, a bag of rice, a box of ramen noodles, whatever you can afford. That way, you’ll eventually have your own stockpile and you don’t have to scramble. Everyone should do this as their budget allows.
Oklahoma schools are out on Springbreak this week. Our college age son only has two physical classes, the rest are online. He’ll find out later in the week if all will go online. His research team from college was supposed to fly to San Antonio the 25th but the conference was canceled last week. We raised 3 growing boys and know what a grocery bill can do to the budget. We went to Walmart today, they’ve changed their hours to 6am to 11pm to clean and restock. Most all the shelves were empty. We did not buy anything more than we normally do any other time of the week or month. There was a small altercation right in front of my husband and myself in the frozen food isle. We were going to treat ourselves to some ice cream and it started and we completely forgot the ice cream. BE CAREFUL ANYONE WHO NEEDS GROCERIES, PEOPLE ARE WORRIED AND ARE LETTING THEIR TEMPERS FLARE. We also take care of my 96 & 98 year old in-laws that still live at home along with my husband’s 65 handicapped brother.
That is so nice of you vanessa to be ready to help others there are so many out there that need help..I went to 3 different stores just for rice and spam just for normal use EVERYTHING IS GONE
We're in CA. We buy household supplies once a month, so we're good. We a.eays have extra leftover when the next month rolls around. It's not the end of the world if we want find any if we need it. We'll figure it out. Be safe in Scotland. If the virus is controlled I'll be there in July.
I am in the same boat as far as toilet paper. We are a family of 7 and I am down to 3 rolls 🙈but I tried to buy what I could find as far as wipes but I didn’t buy all the places had because I know there are others out there searching for something to work! I also hope my amazon order comes threw! Good luck on your toilet paper hunt! God bless! And I hope everyone stays safe and healthy! 💜
We have nothing going on here except the school shutdown, people panic buying, and now restaurants etc are closing down. I’m trying to find children’s medicine because my 5yr old daughter has a sinus cold and for sure a sinus cold and can’t find any as well as no Lysol spray ):
Krogers was wiped out of frozen potatoes, frozen breads, regular breads, pasta, and sauce. Plus the cleaning stuff. Weird that those particular foods were gone. Not the produce, diary, ice cream, drinks, water, or chips.
Ok something you may not know, you mentioned your big dogs eat a lot. If you are able to increase the protein content in their food (along with the general quality of the food), they will eat less of it as the higher quality ingredients are more usable by their body, so it ends up being better absorbed *which also means less poop to pick up!*. For ex I have an 80 lb Golden Retriever, 5 yrs old, I have rotated him among a few brands but the one we currently feed is Farmina. He gets the Healthy Weight Pomegranate & Chicken formula, and all he needs to maintain a healthy body weight with that food is 1 measured cup in the morning and 1 measured cup in the evening. A dog that size needs about 800 calories a day, so he's getting 275 from his cup in the morning + another 275 in the evening, and then the rest gets made up of things like apple pieces, peas, carrots, treats (he loves milkbone minis, we get the mini size because he can maintain a healthy weight while still earning as many as he wants to as they are 1.5 cals a piece). If you are going through a LOT of dog food, take a look at the ingredients in the Costco brand and then a look at brands like Farmina, Royal Canin, Wellness, Fromm, Nutro and you'll see how different they are. You want a food with the most real meat in it, the cheaper brands use a lot of fillers and meat byproducts which are often chicken beaks and feet and such instead of chicken breast like they should have. The more expensive brands use only the meat of the animal protein source, no byproducts, and no fillers like pea proteins. Pea proteins (in place of actual meat protein) have been linked to heart disease in dogs over the last few years, and because they don't feed those fillers in Europe, the European dogs don't have this issue. Only American dogs have it, and that's because European manufacturers (like the Farmina for ex) don't use those fillers. So it really does become that you get what you pay for with dog food. Your dogs will live longer and healthier the better quality food they eat. You may also want to look at feeding raw meat instead of the cooked meat, as dogs have a hard time digesting cooked meat. They sure like it but their systems are not designed to digest it. Hopefully some of this was helpful! There's a UA-camr called Senza Tempo Cane Corso who did a video talking about dog food (a few of them but the most recent one talks about the heart issue that I mentioned here). That video may explain it a lot better than I did here :). Love your channel and all your content! KR
I LOVE the AHA brand!! They have so many unique flavors. I buy the single cans first. The ones I really love are the Apple and Ginger..and the Citrus with Green Tea. The black cherry/coffee one was not my favorite. The combo of flavors is just odd lol.

Is there any way to store fresh fruits for more days?? My 3 yr old loves fruits he is a picky eater of all other foods! Its hardly 3 to 4 days for me to store any fruit!
As a teenage vegan I love how thoughtful you are about getting Paige lots of options and trying to include her diet in your meal planning !
.
I am an ICU nurse that is binge watching UA-cam. You came up in my recommended videos . I subscribed just because of your beautiful intro. I am a LA girl, living in CA . God Bless you and your family for thinking about your neighbors. I will continue to watch!
I've been couponing for a while and thankfully we are stocked. If my neighbors are in need I will certainly help
That's the truth. I think people are upset because they were taking for granted they had access to several stores....24/7. Not so.
You're absolutely right. People don't know how many people each individual has to buy for.
So true some people out there are buying for their parents/neighbor in addition to their own families etc,...
I also live in Virginia!!! Yes!!!
I am not stock buying. I just buy what I need. Then there is enough for everyone. But everyone has there own choices and needs.😀❤
Margaret Page proud of you 🙏🏻thankyou for thinking sensibly
Vanessa, you did such a great job on reminding us all to think of others!!! Well said mama....well said!!
I buy what I need. And the next person buys what they need. Not for me to judge. We are all in this together. Just be nice. Be safe
God bless!
Thinking of All of you as well!!
Long video yasssssssssssss!!
Love Chatty Ones... anyone else?
Vanessa rocks with real life!!
This is the first time I have watched your channel. You're a great parent. This is great haul for your family. Everyone has their own opinion. You have to do what's good for your family. Great job!
Thanks!
Good luck!!
Buy wash cloths and do it the way our grandmothers did. It all washes.
The Oreo thin bites have the word thin in the title so I think that means they are diet food. At least that's what I tell myself.
Right....lol
I feel the same way about Thin Mints.
musty moose I like the way you think😂😂😂
Aha I was thinking of that yesterday
Just curious
How old is page??
She chose to eat that way. Health reasons??
My 14 year old daughter is considering
It's hard for those of us who cant spend hundreds of dollars at a time
I hope that food banks will be able to step up!
It Is nice to stock up if you have the money but not a lot people don't have that and now that people are having to stay home it is really hard
@@kareninva7097 You're so right not everyone can afford to buy an extra this or that to start an emergency stockpile and not to mention extra space to store it!!
Allison Hirschmann My friend, just do what you can. God Bless.
It is so great that you support your vegan daughter. What a great mom!
Grow up!
We don’t have a Costco local near me but I can’t wait to get a sams membership I’m a small family of three but certain things I do still need from there and I know having it is totally worth it so I’m excited about that
Great video! You are an amazing mom and take such good care of your kiddos!! Keep up the great work and videos! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Caramel Cupcake A simple quick search would denounce your reply.
how are people saying you’re hoarding? This literally is what i buy on a regular. I probably have more food than this in my house currently before even shopping. I haven’t done any hoard shopping because I have enough - your shopping is completely rational! Makes no sense to me how anyone is mad at this video. The god damn toilet paper shit, so stupid. I have my period right now and can’t find any. I’m using facial wipes. Like really? I’m sure that’s great for genitals.... I hate people who truly are hoarding and not looking how for others. It’s not the zombie outbreak.
Will you do a pantry and fridge show? I would like to see how you organize things. Tx.
Awesome haul for your family. You go lady! Be safe out there.
Barbara Lent prayers for you all too down under!
Idk why but seeing a cereal called Llama loops just made my morning
Love your haul, advise and chit chat please stay safe and enjoy your time with the children xx
Thanks so much 🥰
Wishing you and your family happiness and health.♥️ I am in Canada and they have closed all schools, daycare, libraries and community centers.
I cannot have gluten, dairy, or soy. Let me know how Paige likes the plant butter. Equal Balance has several types of vegan butter.
Hey great job of getting ready. Keep improving your preparations and skills. These are tough times, don't shoulder the responsibilities yourself.
Thanks 😊
My daughter is off for two weeks. I stocked up on food because my daughter has several food allergies and can only eat certain things.
Love your channel and please you and your family stay safe and well 😀
Thank you for your detailed description on each item. Visually impaired do watch videos and enjoy the description.
Take care in this crazy world. And yes, restrictions here as well. Schools are still open at the moment.Love from 🇬🇧
I'm in south Texas (Rio Grande Valley) and we just started our spring break on 3/16.
Stay healthy and safe you are coming right you don't know ppls issues
Our schools are out for 3 weeks and a few days before they will evaluate.
You can also get an online library card.
Confirming this.
Very true. I worked Walgreens for a long time. Often when i would stock the shelves, i would read the ingredients in the drugs. Its all the same. Just like zquil and othet sleeping medicine is just benadryl. The company's market it different to increase profits.
You just earned a new subscriber! I also love the Kirkland juice boxes along with honest kids :)
Seriously makes me rethink pantry/freezer challenges, sadly.
YES on the Sam's membership. Love our Sam's. Wish we had a Costco too.
Don't let people judge you for buying so much stuff during this month. Because during the rest of the year that's how people buy stuff at Costco.
I’m from Washington state and the schools are closed for 6 weeks! I started planning for this shortly before we found out yesterday! It’s insane right now!
Me too but I’m from Spokane. Things are definitely crazy over here!
Go to the small dollar stores if you have any in your area. Everybody forgets about them. And if you go on track day they have everything. Good luck!!
Having a c section in 5 days and I wanted to stock up on oatmeal, cereal, peanut butter, and a few other staples but it was all gone. People also had packs and packs of water and I could only find a 6 pack. 😞
Also I've had more success finding toilet paper and water at 7 eleven of all places and CVS/Walgreens.
I picked the wrong month too! I had a heck of a time just getting my pantry back to normal levels but I think we are going to be ok now.
Keep being kind! I hope you find tp.
Wow? Where do you put it all?
Haha even in Scotland the toilet paper stocks are like gold dust 😂 I’m lucky that I already had plenty! And I’ll take that virtual high five lol
We're in CA. We buy household supplies once a month, so we're good. We a.eays have extra leftover when the next month rolls around. It's not the end of the world if we want find any if we need it. We'll figure it out. Be safe in Scotland. If the virus is controlled I'll be there in July.
You have to leave early when the stores first open up to get toilet paper.
That's an awesome haul, love your attitude may God bless you and your family
Thank you 🥰
We have nothing going on here except the school shutdown, people panic buying, and now restaurants etc are closing down. I’m trying to find children’s medicine because my 5yr old daughter has a sinus cold and for sure a sinus cold and can’t find any as well as no Lysol spray ):
Buy a bag of popcorn kernels and extra oil for snacks for the kids. If you buy Brown suger and Karo syrup for Carmel corn.
My AZ stores barely have any food at all. It's scary. I hope to find some this week.
Bridgette Saxton-Hall ☹️
what part of az? Im in Az as well...
Krogers was wiped out of frozen potatoes, frozen breads, regular breads, pasta, and sauce. Plus the cleaning stuff. Weird that those particular foods were gone. Not the produce, diary, ice cream, drinks, water, or chips.
*****Hi. How do you store eggs, even if you get a large quanity of them?

ULINE has been “temporarily unavailable” for days -office manager
Louise Gullion This is true, Office Depot/max & staples carries toilet paper and baby wipes at least online and that is where I purchased my items
