I pray for the hostages, but in this fallen world, death is a fact. War is a fact. Every---every-every day in Ukraine-Russia young/old soldiers are dying. In this regard, hostages are often victims and many don't get freed. This is the case in not only Israel but other places as well. I pray that the hostages will use this time to pray to God and repent.
Thank you for calling out the hypocrisy of the US government who as you say are really in no position to tell Israel how to conduct this war as humanly as possible, given the fact that they have the most difficult and impossible mission which no other army has had to contend with.
