The truth? that it was another "mistake?" like all the other ones? (journalists, children, women, hospitals, hostages,...) Check that the Pope had to say about Israel war in Gaza at his Easter sermon. Strangely enough, CBN is not talking about it... (He said this war was "terrorism"). The Lord allows war because we only learn from our mistakes. What appears as cruelty and aimless mayhem is a vital part of our training to become decent human beings. God does not play dice with the universe. Without wisdom, love is futile and foolish. We are almost near the end of wars, but the next few are going to be really hard. Then we will have some peace and quiet for centuries. We will have finally learned not to start a war.

When turkish drones hit the US troops - even though they were told several times that they were US, the turkish response was “oops” & US reply “oh well”. I’m intrigued by what the US will do in this case.
Maybe promote better standards for manufacturing the stickers on the cars. They should have simple, consistent designs, high-visibility materials such as reflective coating, and a minimum size. Require aide workers to provide contact information so they can be warned.
But instead of taking steps to prevent repeat of the tragedy, this administration will just use it as a way to demonize Israel.

I am confused. The food trucks are coming in daily, a lot of trucks. Many of the trucks are attacked and Hamas runs off with the stuff , there is a fair bit of footage so we can think it's probably a fact. But there has also been footage of the donated food being sold by dodgy types in the marketplace. So why are folks saying the people are starving, when food is flowing in? Some marketplace traders are making a profit on people's needs it would seem?

There were countless tragedies that occurred involving civilians and innocent people in every single other war in history. That is part of the tragedy of war! It’s devastating that this happened and my heart hurts for those lost and their families. But they knew that what they were doing was extremely dangerous and that they might die. They willingly accepted the risk. It doesn’t make the loss any less devastating but we can’t tear down the IDF as if they are monsters. They wouldn’t be fighting this war had the events of October 7th never occurred.
Israelis also willing set up a music festival next to the world biggest concentration camp. Do you think that makes it legitimate that the prisoners who broke out of the concentration camp, killed them?

I am sorry for what happened to those who are trying to just be kind hearted fellow human beings. By the same token, accidents happen, and those choosing to take these high risks, especially in a war zone, know in advance these tragedies can happen. At least this is my thinking. Sorry about this tragedy. And im sorry that the IDF has to go through this. But it was an accident. There is no way Israel would do this deliberately. Never Never Never. If the IDF soldiers wanted to, then they would have finished the job in two months and many uninvolved civilians would have been killed. But Israel is fighting a very difficult urban war, the IDF soldiers are under enormous stress, and they are human beings like everyone else, and there were mistakes, the fact that three hostages fled to Hamas, and the IDF soldiers killed them because they were sure they were terrorists means that in war soldiers can kill each other without knowing that Your friends, or even someone from your family, we are not angels. The State of Israel apologized for this case, as happened with the abductees who fled from Hamas.
