The US Pacific fleet alone dwarfs the entire British Royal Navy which has only 30,000 total naval personnel. The pacific fleet by itself has over 160,000 total naval personnel
1:43 First time to know, the US Pacific Fleet consists of 60% of the USN ships, submarines, and aircraft. I always assume the US Fleet Forces (Aka: Atlantic Fleet) to have a larger percentage of the USN fleet.
God bless you all, your going to need it because when it goes hot your going to be a busy man and I hope that you are able to get the back up, support, logistics, and replacement ships, aircraft, plus the sailors that you are going to need when China tries and they will test and attack you and your Allies.
Don't Forget about the others that served as always happens. "The Bull" Admiral Halsey and many many more. The Leyte Gulf battle, I want to say that I am not sure anymore but Johnson who took on the force that snuck up on the Navy when the Halsey went he went chasing empty ships and he sacrificed him and his ship to stop them from destroying the other task force that had to take on losing odds because of Halsey and his empty carriers.
The largest Air Force in the world is the US Air Force . The Second largest air force is the US Navy. The US Marine Corps is not far behind. Think about that .

Providing security over the global shipping lanes. Making sure nobody tries to claim international waters as their own sovereign territory in order to control key shipping lanes or trade routes. The same thing we’ve been doing since world war 2 which is why global trade has boomed since WW2

why does he say "rules based world order" and not international law? is it because America is constantly violating international law and the "threats" aren't violating international law?
Many countries around the world violate international law on a regular basis. China violates international law inside and outside of it’s borders a whole lot more often than the USA. Humanitarian laws are also international laws (referencing the Uighur genocide) I don’t know why some people act like the US is somehow worse than China. A multipolar world will just create more conflict and wars
All is good until the Chinese Navy is involved, than the Pacific fleet is nowhere to be found, ask the Philippine Navy that, NO US assistance to be found. Funny how talk is cheap, the Philippine Navy was being attached by the Chinese, Admiral where were our allies? All talk
Admiral Paparo gave better answers to great direct questions than any politician I've ever suffered listening to. Great job, Zavier
It was really great to meet with ADM Paparo 👍 Impressive number of sailors and assets !
🇺🇲🤝🇫🇷
awesome interview. Thank You, Sir!
Glad you enjoyed it!
these are the type of men i would give my life for. God bless Admiral Paparo and God bless the United States.
Admiral Paparo commands a lot of offensive and defensive power.

The fighting force first to engage China.
And the last force to engage China since nuclear missile subs are included.

I think it's just slightly larger than the Royal Malaysian Navy
How?You mean no. of ships or sailors? But remember an aircraft carrier is just counted as one ship.

The US Pacific alone would still be the largest Navy in the world by tonnage of ships and number of Navy Personnel
Is he has a vice admiral?
Admiral is a rank, not a position.
What is America and France doing in Asia???

Rules based order🎉😢 no Mas. No one scared of you anymore.
Didn't Russia recently lose control of the Black Sea to a country with no navy? In fact, that country just sank about 1/4 of your navy, didn't they?
One Russian tactical nuclear warhead.
And everything.
