MATCHBOX restoration: No. 28D Mack Dump Truck - DIECASTRESTOS

Restoring a Lesney Matchbox No. 28D Mack Dump Truck, in the Matchbox range from 1968 until 1973, joining the Superfast range in 1970.

This dump truck was looking a little worn out. Luckily I had hold of all the tyres, albeit loose ones. The casting is well detailed considering it was a later addition to the regular wheels range, certainly more details than the 6B Euclid dump truck and on par with the 6C dump truck. I hooked it up with a fresh coat of vivid orange and with a light freshen up it looks good enough to dump dirt once again.
