LEAFWING IS OUT! AFTER ABOUT A YEAR, HES FREE.
Sorry that this video is more low effort, I needed to get this out and I'm really tired, eek! I hope it's good enough at least, I tried to give as much info but just didn't do all the fancy editing

Canonically, LeafWings (atleast in the Wiki) are green, brown, gold, and shades of pinkish red. Pink is canon so it won't be leaving us.

Me and my sister played it as soon as they came out we were just getting out house ready for our rp after making our leafwings, and next thing we know the whole flipping server piles into our den raiding it two times scaring me the first time

He is free from development hell 🍃 I attempted to make my main LeafWing OC, Prince Rhubarb, and while he’s pretty close, the wings weren’t nearly dark enough so I had to sort of make his wing fingers lighter to give the illusion of black wings 😭 instead I made another OC based on a cherry blossom tree using the pinks and browns that I’m much more happy with. Her name is Cerasus c:

@@CrystalKitty1220 Naur I just made it as a joke because the paint tool was bugged when it was released at first-- I was the stupid little dragon named Nightmare with an incoherent bio, not the very first dragon flinging

I know which dragon you were, it just looked kinda like a character from something and had the same name, but also you called it a joke slot and i thought it could have just been a parody of those emo dragons, but then again even dragons based on stuff could be joke characters (all yellow named pikachu, all green named shrek, etc.) so i just decided to ask anyway.
tbh I kinda wish the people/person in charge of the LeafWing’s design had added the leaf designs on the wings and tail fin and spines, and i feel like it would’ve given the model a more leaf-like appearance like in the books, but I understand that can be quite challenging to do.
Other than that, the LeafWings look amazing! I can’t wait to play as one!

2:36 Dark cyan, nearly black character named Nightmare? Associated with trees? Could either be a common edgelord or a utmv fan. Wish they had more in their bio, I've been trying to collect screenshots of every outcode as a dragon and this would be my first Nightmare.

As soon as I saw the notification I started to play! I quickly made an oc and had so much fun today. I ended up on the same server as Bella and it was CRAZY!! I was happy to see the Leafwing population has increased at long last
I think the development might start with simpler updates first (for more than one reason?) Like accessories, then ages, then maps? I’m not sure when remodeling could possibly start, but I’m really excited! This update is lots of fun, I can’t wait to make a Rainwing OC and grow plants, lol!
With LeafWings out, I guess you can say that HiveWings will be outclassed by LeafWings in popularity *FINALLY-*
Side note: When I first joined a server, I saw so many LeafWings and I’m like: “Oh hey, I can’t wait for these to release and stuff” and that’s when the players said “ *THEY HAVE!* “ and I’m like “… *OH WAIT-*

@@dog77689 yeah, adding onto what you said, if you do the math, there would be 45 different possible hybrids, which is a ridiculous number of hybrids to design, model, and add abilities to.
@@justinshim4895yep, plus each hybrid would look different, like Sunny was mostly SandWing. And you can kinda already make hybrids in the current game just with the colors and stuff

I agree. I really hope ages are the next thing being worked on, because you only have to make a few new models for the hatchlings and eggs, but the adult model can be sized down or up to fit the older or dragonet category
My guess is that you guys are gonna work on ages next, but whatever you guys work on I’ll be excited for!
Side note, you guys nailed the flying animation it’s so expressive and I absolutely love it

Fun fact: Unlike other Pantalan Tribes, LeafWings have the chain things on their wings if they get on a pillar, probably since they have two wings.
I was joining Wings of fire earlier and I was going to teach my friend how to play then I saw the leafwings and totally forgot how to play myself lol. They look so goofy as well I mean that in the nicest way possible haha, I love them!💚🐉
Edit: My guess is working on the areas like: Rainforest, Mud kingdom. Stuff like that. Or accessories.
The colouring options, model and animation all look great! Like a lot of people said the only thing I can see that could be improved upon would be the wing shape although like you said it's definitely not easy with the rigging and such. I'm glad leafwings are out (yippee) and y'all who have leafwing OC's can finally make them. I like the idea of people choosing color schemes based on the season as well and maybe closer to fall there'll be fall colours floating around the servers!
I really look forward to having different age characters to play around with especially with the amount of younger characters I've been making recently (dunno why honestly, though most are humans haha) and, of course, prophecy roleplays.
Overall leafwings look great and I look forward to the future of Wings of Fire :3

Honestly, I’m so excited you’re a dev now, and the vibrance and flexibility of the leafwing’s color palette makes me think that I might have a new favorite tribe to play as. THE LEAF WINGS ARE FINALLY OUT. I cannot explain how excited I am now that all of the tribes have been out. Congrates on your new position on the dev team Bella. You and the other new members will make a GREAT impact on the game. After looking through some old discord posts from WOF I saw some things that arch was working on such as; fighting in the arena, new accs, induvidual armor for skywings, remodel the sky kingdom arena, savengers, sand kingdom, etc. Ages and hybirds would be awsome! I would just like to see some of this "forgotten" progress to be worked on more and put in the game. (The fighting would be SO GOOD for the roleplayers because normally fights are very anticlimatic and boring and people power play.) Again, congrates on your new position Bella, this game will come a long way will yours and Goldy's help. My guess is that the dev team will be working on more accs, ages, and remodeling the sky kingdom.
They already confirmed no hybrids. :(

I'd guess ages or the sandwing kingdom would be the next update/what you're working on, since those were worked on in the past but didn't really get updated on since then.

I kinda hope the different maps are made so when we get the accessories the quests will make more since being in their respective places. But Ages sounds easier to do, everything will take time and effort and I don't mind that. Great job with being on the dev team and I hope you have fun doing so.
