Wow, Vivian! You are the sweetest kindest person I think I’ve ever seen. Love the way you treated your dad and stepmom. Your daughter is also sweet and adorable.
Vivian, you are a wonderful tour guide. The introduction, the pace, the background, the filming, human interest, the editing was all perfect! I, like others noticed the lower Chapel was so like the Chapel at LaLande. When I was in Paris in 2022 I BLEW BY this amazing space rushing to see the windows upstairs. Now, after learning the gargantuan and painstaking processes it takes to decorate the columns and vaults, I was riveted. It’s just another example of how education leads to appreciation. You are doing exactly this with your incredible jewelry. This visit to the store was fantastic. Every episode you teach us more about the delightful art form. Thank you for all you do. You are a lovely person.
@cwatson3495 I couldn't have agreed more. It was a delight to watch and so professionally edited, I wish TV companies would put the same amount of effort and passion as Vivian does. X
Oh my...I'm a disabled senior from California and will never get to France and what you just showed of that church made me cry from it's incredible beauty...thank you so much...I also watch Chateau Diaries and the two chapels look very similar....simply lovely
Dear Viv, I can't tell you how much I wait for your videos. They are so worth waiting for. I'm glad you and your dad could share such sweet times tog. Thank you for sharing. You just never disappoint. 😊
Vivienne, your vlogs always deliver and more! It is lovely seeing your dad and Valerie enjoy their trip to Paris with their very own tour guide. I would not have thought Paris would be easy to maneuver for people with mobility issues. That is wonderful. Thanks for bringing us along. That gumbo looked so delicious. ❤
I loved that jewellery shop front/store in the museum. I have always been fascinated by living history and the products/perfume/cosmetics used in everyday life, what was once mundane, now a treasure. A great video, and lovely to see you spend precious and meaningful time with your dad. xxx
Love this visit with your dad and his wife. Such beautiful art everywhere in Paris. The chapel was stunning as well the museums. What a special meal you made for your dad. He’s such a lovely man as is his wife. Thanks for taking us along 😍😘
It is very difficult for anyone with mobility problems to navigate Paris or any European historic city. Your relatives are fortunate to have you as a tour guide and interpreter to lead the way. Most do not.
Vivian. What a beautiful video. I felt like I passed on and went to heaven to see. Eglise, Saint Chapelle it is a piece of heaven on earth in France. Wow magnificent really there are no words to describe it except the feeling I got it was something else.
My God Vivienne you can cook like a pro chef as well as all your many other talents ! That was amazing to watch the process and ingredients going in with the various seasonings ! it must have tasted amazing ! What a handsome man your father is so one can see those wondrous genes in you, this has been a pure delight to watch, enjoyed seeing the oldest restaurant since my favourite oldest restaurant in London is Rules in Covent Garden ! Tis magic but it is the History of it that captures the heart ! I loved it. Your Vlogs simply get better and are truly heart warming ! Thankyou x
Beautiful, just beautiful Vivienne - all the hauntingly magnificent shots of Paris😍😍😍 So good to see your father and step-mother enjoying this magical city -- oh to be young again!!🤩🤩🤩But then I can always count on you to bring these brilliant videos to us the viewers - as I have said before your videos always uplift me and one day I hope to be able to buy something from your unique jewellery shop 🥰🥰🥰 Stay well and travel safely
I just watched your vlog showing you make gumbo. I live in Louisiana about 25 miles from New Orleans. And your Dad is right, gumbo is a favorite here! I learned long ago that there are as many different recipes for gumbo as there are chefs in the kitchen. I make gumbo often but cook my roux to peanut butter color. Also we always serve it with rice. Also was surprised to hear that there are crawfish in France. Would love to see you cooking etouffe. I absolutely love your art especially the painted birds on china. You have a wonderful gift!
So lovely to meet your Dad and Valerie and he obviously really loved the special dinner you cooked for him. That beautiful church interior reminds me of the chapel at Chateau de Lalande with all that beautiful painting inside and stars on the roof. Thank you for sharing Paris and your family with us. Much love from Australia xxx
Sounds like a new artistic endeavor is on the horizon for Vivienne in Black Outlined Stained Glass Window Decorations......She will make stupendous pieces. I have no doubt.
Well, that gumbo looks absolutely delish! When I visited Paris in '97 I went to a concert in Sainte-Chapelle; it was fabulous. I was staying just around the corner at Place Dauphine. I want to go back...
Such a delight to see your sweet daddy and his wife enjoying Paris at such a great pace. Thanks for all the tips on getting around with a little help from lifts and wheelchairs.....great info! The art deco designs are stunning and remind me of my years in Moscow.....where the style has just taken hold about a decade before the Russian Revolution of 1917! Stunning, stunning architecture and the bronze depicted at the door of the one exhibit....just the most beautiful bronze! I wish I had spent more time in the jewelry stores in Moscow as I often saw amazing pieces of art decor fine jewelry! Sigh! Your gumbo made my mouth water....big, big fan of Louisiana cooking after spending time there in the mid 70's! So happy to see Isabella and Jack again! Cheers!
What a gorgeous kitchen. If I bought a home, chateau or otherwise, after settling any structural issues and the roof, I'd get the kitchen and at least one bathroom completed. Life without a fully functional kitchen would be a nightmare for me. I love cooking and just hanging out in the kitchen.
Hello I have been watching your channel since you aired I love watching your channel you and your family always put a smile on my face I have always wanted to come to Paris just have not been able to come hope to visit France sometime soon 🙏😊
Isabella, there is a Costco just outside of Paris!! and 3 in Spain. You don't have to go to Florida to see a Costco. look it up :-) I've been 2x and its just like an American Costco even with the hotdogs!
What a spectacular video! I so enjoyed the tours of the Museums and the meals you had in Paris. Vivian your gumbo look delicious. Lastly I must tell you, you have the most beautiful skin. Thank you for a very special vlog today😍😍
Oh my gosh, how special to have your dad and Valerie still able to travel that far to see you all. They look amazing! The architecture and everything in Paris was extraordinary! And what an incredible labor of love to cook that gumbo. I’ve never had it, but now I’d love to try it. Stunning jewelry pieces you always wear and sell. One of these days I’ll have one of them!! Love from Mary in Southern California 💗
That Gumbo looked so delicious, Vivienne. What a wonderful thing to do for your father! He's such a sweet man!! The museums were amazing & I enjoyed them right along with you! What a treat!! Blessings to you & your sweet family!! 🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing a lovely visit with your family. The sights, museums, brassieres, library and home sweet home were so enjoyable to see. So many details-wow! The Gumbo and Bluesy jazz brought back some delightful memories for me also. Blessings, Zura🌞
What a special and wonderful visit with your Dad and Stepmom. The Museums in Paris was amazing as were the places you dined. Best of all was cooking Gumbo for him. ❤
Wow Vivienne! This was great. Thank you for taking us along. Not only is Paris accessible, but beautiful as well. The gold church took my breath away. Be well.
I've lived in Baton Rouge for 35 yrs. The Gumbo is wonderful. Crawfish is also one of the most loved ingredients here. Thank you for cooking gumbo for your dad.
The Saint Chappell is my favorite chapel in France I have seen it twice and attended a string concert there magical. I will be going back soon I can’t get enough of it. I even made a gingerbread house resembling this chapel for Christmas complete with candied stain glass windows to match. I love that you took the time to reassure us seniors with mobility issues that you will be taken care of with some prep in Paris, lovely vlog today thanks for sharing.
thanks for sharing the precious hidden places of Paris you showed your vivid father and wife also with us❤ - and the jumbo gumbo 🥣was very impressive, too 👍artist in every respect 🍤🦞

Lovely vlog Vivienne, so nicely filmed and I always like the music you play. Your Dad and his wife are great, I’m glad they still travel. I’ve been to Paris a few times bur never visited that beautiful church; not surprised you get inspired by such gorgeous art work.

I appreciate your love of beauty, art, craft, and the history the stunning city of Paris. I never got to visit but am enjoying it through your channel.
Saint-Chapelle is my favourite example of Gothic architecture…it’s a masterpiece of high Gothic, it’s a stained glass jewel box. Was there in 2016. I try to travel with my mom (who is now 84) occasionally. We last went to Barcelona together in 2022, and hopefully she’ll feel up to Portugal next year.
Love, love, loved your tours of secret Paris!!! I now have added them all to my to do list. Loved your coverage of the history and interesting stories. You are a lovely family, such a delight to watch. Thank you! xx
I could see you adapting elements from the frieze that your father pointed out into your china painting. Your kitchen must have smelled glorious as you prepared that gumbo. One of my favorites, though I could see that yours was far better than any I've had. I'd love to have you as a guide in Paris, as long as you'd join me for afternoon tea at the Salon Proust at the Ritz. Proust keeps me sane, and I can open any page of In Search of Lost Time for a bit of therapy. Thanks!
