Thats good stuff right there! Thanks for the video, its added to my list of ideas as I have two 8 footers to move. The first one being the day after tomorrow which should be the easy one. the second one will have to come down off of a 4' deck with not a lot of room to maneuver. Seeing how "friends " are never available when their backs are needed , Im getting as many ideas as possible to handle any problems that ma arise. Good job and thanks for showing what one man, some tools and a little ingenuity and determination can do.
I loved this video, delighted by the backup plan. My only rebuttal to it is that receiving Christ is not a backup plan it is the only plan but that's merely semantics the idea is solid. Thanks for stating the truth.
I agree with your thoughts. Unfortunately, we all go with our own plan until we realize it ain't working out so well... at all. Thanks for commenting, brother.
I have had the pleasure of doing this also...mother in law and wife looking on. I used the old lift one corner and spin technique (20') I didn't quit coughing for two days. No heart attack though. Loo
I move Hot Tub‘s every damn day and I could tell just by looking at it it was an 8 foot! The placard that you see right there will tell you the year it was made serial number and model of the tub. Even if I have two or three people with me I always use my spa wedge because why hurt yourself when you have the tools to do it safely without a struggle!!
A tape measure will also tell you what size it is. LOL It was my first solo move. So it really didn't matter to me how big it was. Perhaps if I had known, I wouldn't have tried it by myself. Then I wouldn't have had this video. :)
What did you use for the slider please qe desperaþly need our hot tub over at new home and can't get anyone to get it over even at £500 no one is free to do it this near to Christmas
That is a huge amount of weight... my masterspa is 8ft square and is 755 lbs empty.. so residual water in that probably adds a bit too for you to lift.
Great video! Thx! Whats the weight of the tub? Seeing you push it around by yourself makes me wonder if me and acouple friends could push my tub into place instead of hiring a truck with a crane.
That tub was about 900 lbs. dry. People can often do more than they think, but obviously safety is the most important thing. There are some things that only a crane will do. There are other things that are simply made easier by a crane. I do not hesitate to use a crane if it is safer. Have fun with your spa delivery. Thanks for watching the video. I hope you will subscribe.
Frankly, there is no great answer to this question. Honestly, I was just trying to do what I knew. It was my first solo hot tub move. Today I would certainly do some things differently. But as you will find in my videos, I just do what I do. Some days it is solid. Other days, it is full of errors. Thanks for the question.
Whoah its 0110 in North East England...im pondering buying a hot tub for my potential new home ive not actually committed to yet...googled prices to move a spa...megabucks...so here i am at UA-cam's mercy. First 1 i come across the guy has my name!!!! David Gould. What are the odds? My surname is not common whatsoever. David....you make this look easy...fancy a trip to England? Excellent video.
HELLO I AM IN FRANCE AND I DELIVER SPAS. YOUR VIDEOS ARE GREAT. CAN YOU TELL ME HOW YOU MAKE THE CARPET THAT YOU PUT UNDER TO SLIDE IT BECAUSE IT IS SUPER GOOD. OR THEN IF WE CAN BUY IT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER
Tyler Denham Yes. You can see at the 11:10 mark that this does have the abs covering on the bottom of the tub. For those concerned about scratching their deck, rolling the tub on white pipes can minimize that, though depending on conditions, some scratching will occur regardless.
number 1 why did you not winch tub on trailer like there design to do. number 2 why did you not stand up on 4 wheel cart then roll to trailer number 3 leave tongue on trailer so you have more leverage pulling down i been moving hot tub for 17 years first 2 with the same set up but quicker got rid the the 2 wheel trailer now use 2 wheel deck over tilt trailer 12 foot long 8 foot wide never have to separated spa cart winch cart with hot on flat or standing up
Well, this was my first attempt at moving a spa by myself, so there are probably some things I would do differently. I didn't have a winch at the time. Flipping an 8-footer up on 4-wheel cart by oneself is precarious at best. Leaving the tongue on upright trailer throws the balance off and often causes it to fall down. Sounds like you have a good system there.
So many times I thought we were about to witness an accidental death. You, Sir, are the true definition of DIY. I salute you!
Dudes a beast. You will not last long doing this. Thank you for proclaiming Christ. He is the best back up plan!
I thought for sure we were going to see the backup plan.
Give a man leverage and ANYTHING can be moved. Great job!
That is true. Thanks
if I didnt see it with my own eyes, I wouldnt believe 1 man could do it...unbelieveable! props to u brother!
I appreciate that
You are the only 1 man hot tub mover on UA-cam, congratulations 👏.
Thanks! 😃
Next video shows that his wife wants the spa back where it was
OMG lol I'm having the same issue. My wife is breaking my back, literally.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
🤣
LOL
Thank you, what a job. Have us great ideas to move a much smaller spa. Really lends it's to " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
I sat n smoked a whole blunt and just laughed at this video.
Great video thanks the moving company wanted $800 to move ours... me and a friend did it thanks to your video
Thanks a lot. Glad you were able to safely move it and save some cash. I hope you will click on SUBSCRIBE.
You are a very strong man.
Damn dude, you are a beast ! Great video. Amazing what one man can do with some ingenuity !
In his next video he wrestles a grizzly bear over lunch.
Haha. Depends on the lunch.

Well done brother!
Love your backup plan.
Super smart approach. The whole thing
I have the same Spa, I was able to move it about 50 feet, but was not able to stand it up on end. I liked that slide method you used.
Don’t let that dude get ahold of ya! Good work brotha
I commend you. You persistent bastard. One of the best videos iv seen. Thank you.
You and I man, we are like twins. We can do anything. We use our head and anything is possible.. GREAT Video
Thank you sir. Your idea just gave me an idea! Good job!
Great work, ideas and video! Thanks for sharing. It's also great to see so many comments and respect for 'manliness'. You're a great example of it! :)

wow that tub is huge and you showed it who is boss!
Respect to this man
I appreciate it
I have had the pleasure of doing this also...mother in law and wife looking on. I used the old lift one corner and spin technique (20') I didn't quit coughing for two days. No heart attack though. Loo
I laughed. Surprisingly entertaining for a dry subject.
Thank you.
Oh man!!!!! I am thrilled you told people about Jesus!!!! Subscribing just for that!!! Fantastic job with the spa move, too!
Thank you. I am glad you appreciate it Shine that light

Scary but impressive👏🏻
Thank you
Damn dude! Nice work. I moved mine the same way but on dollies but it's a 4 person and probably 1/2 the weight!
Dude man belongs in the strong man competions
Your crazy man you looked like that trailer was going to flatten you
Sometimes it feels like it is going to flatten me. LOL
For the trailer to fall you gotta love it you know? 😂
How do you like the wooden deck for the hot tub? Was thinking wood but worried about it rotting out!
Great job... ✌️🍺🍺thx for the tutorial
14:04 Headset wearers beware.
Sorry about that.
Oh, I just thought that because my logitech speakers came from my aunt's estate they were haunted. that's all.
A man amongst men...
You are a machine! 💪
how much easier life is when you have friends - very impressive regardless thank you
It is true. Your friends seem to scatter when it is time to move something. Ha.
Whete can we get a slide thing like that. Also, what kind of Airbag thing did you use?? Nice work. God bless
I think the wife is trying to collect life insurance.
Great job! 😊
that was impressive
Lol I was waiting for him to throw the pump hose over into neighbor's yard
What did you use for the slider please qe desperaþly need our hot tub over at new home and can't get anyone to get it over even at £500 no one is free to do it this near to Christmas
Watch this when your drunk! It’s better than Netflix
Hahaha. Truth.
Where can I get that mat mover? Thanks!
That is a huge amount of weight... my masterspa is 8ft square and is 755 lbs empty.. so residual water in that probably adds a bit too for you to lift.
You are The Man 😊
Thank you, lady. 😉

Is this a special trailer made for this job?
Where did you get the trailer?!
What is that slide? Where do I get one?
You are the man!
Very impressive
You’re a tank. Good for you.
Thank you.
David you're a Beast man.. Nice work Sir. What's the name of the inflatable bag used to lift it?
This is an amazing video
Thanks, dude.
Great job!
Cool Video. Thats hard work
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it, and I appreciate your feedback.
Why not bring the trailer to the deck and wench the tub on? Just curious?
Frankly, there is no great answer to this question. Honestly, I was just trying to do what I knew. It was my first solo hot tub move. Today I would certainly do some things differently. But as you will find in my videos, I just do what I do. Some days it is solid. Other days, it is full of errors. Thanks for the question.
man ,,so big power to move a spa
Did you buy that slider or you made it? I saw a few places selling them just wanted to get one i know works for sure
Go to www.SpaDolly.com and look for sled. Tell them David at Good Stuff Videos sent you.

what was the slider thing
Nice job! Can you tell me where I could get the crowbar with wheels (3:44) I'm looking for this one, but seems hard to find.
It’s part of the spa dollies that’s he useing the whole thing goes around 8000$
I wish you were in my area. The hot tub I intend to purchase would be easier for you. Plus you'd have my help. How far are you from Harrison Georgia?
What a beast!
Where did you get the sled from?
Another UA-cam guy named Spa Guy sells them or something similar
What is the sled sheet you are using
Where do you get the slider?
hottubpartsofamerica.com/spa-slider-for-moving-hot-tubs-and-other-heavy-objects-tool/
How did your hernia surgery go?
I'll let you know when I have it. LOL
What is that slider called that you dragged it with where did u get it
He should of put that airbag lift under the back end of the trailer to help him level off the trailer instead of trying to only use his weight.
That is another way. Just have to watch the metal angles on the trailer that may puncture bag.
What is the name of the slidey pad thing you are using?
We actually sell the slider.
hottubpartsofamerica.com/spa-slider-for-moving-hot-tubs-and-other-heavy-objects-tool/
Good job!
NikkiPinto Thank you!
You my friend are a beast
He made my 1 inch feel like a half inch.
Confused: at 10 minutes there's a noise and the tub lifts by itself?
It is magic. :)
Actually, it is an air bag that inflates to the shape of a wedge. That sound is the wet/dry vac filling the bag with air.
Superhuman!
How thick is plastic sleigh he is using?
About 1/4"
RESPECT!!!!!!
Does that tub have avs plastic bottom some tubs can really tear up a deck, If you are just sliding it around.
Tyler Denham Yes. You can see at the 11:10 mark that this does have the abs covering on the bottom of the tub. For those concerned about scratching their deck, rolling the tub on white pipes can minimize that, though depending on conditions, some scratching will occur regardless.
David Gould cool thx for the reply, really great vid.
Thank you, appreciate the video!
Chris Budge No problem. Thanks for the comment.
What type of slider is that? What’s the name?
Contact Billy@thespaguyinc.com to get the slider. Tell him David sent you. Thanks.
Hello
Do you know if we can get this carpet in Quebec. Canada?
Its bad when the backup plan has a backup plan 😆. Great job though, I would have gave up and paid someone to move it for me.
Awesome 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks for watching, and commenting. Hope you will Subscribe.
Is that a hot tub dolly attached to the trailer?
The entire trailer is called a "spa dolly." There is a cart that can be made from parts of the trailer.
he'll a couple Vicodin when he's done.my back hurts just watching him.
number 1 why did you not winch tub on trailer like there design to do. number 2 why did you not stand up on 4 wheel cart then roll to trailer number 3 leave tongue on trailer so you have more leverage pulling down i been moving hot tub for 17 years first 2 with the same set up but quicker got rid the the 2 wheel trailer now use 2 wheel deck over tilt trailer 12 foot long 8 foot wide never have to separated spa cart winch cart with hot on flat or standing up
