I used to make maps for far cry, and I messed with the editor a lot. This is just how they made single player maps. They would try to hid the helicopters somewhere in the terrain and they would just sit there until activated by the player. Crysis even has similar enemy setups.
I know that this video is old but, this is not easter egg. This is simple helicopter, hidden in the terrain, that will fly after you when you trigger the alarm on the ship.

I don't think this is an easter egg, this is the helicopter which comes if the enemies press the alarm at the beginning of the mission.
Yup, it's just stored there until it is needed for the scripted event.

Its not an easter egg, its the location that the Helicopter will come from.
