    You know, having a virtual recreation of the ship like this could be very useful to Titanic researchers and enthusiasts everywhere. When I would read survivor’s accounts, I would sometimes have a hard time imagining where exactly on the ship they were, or picturing the details some of them were talking about, and testifying to what they saw or did there. But if we compare them with this computer model, we would have a better understanding of all those things. Keep up the good work, Titanic: Honor and Glory team. It is much appreciated.

    Nice jazz piano version of "Songe D'Automne" 😎 it's pretty slick. In watching this, I noticed something - in your 2024 RTS it looks like the Titanic is shortened.. The well decks (both fore/aft) seem compressed. Just thought of that watching this, those areas in this video seem to be normal in length.

  • @MattiavonSigmund
    @MattiavonSigmund 6 місяців тому +2

    This is fantastic, but I have two complains: the area under the 3rd funnel was never "dislodged" at the time of the breakup, this area was destroyed as the stern descended into the ocean, and I think seeing the water at 10:16, it should look more crystal clear and transparent, not "greenish" but otherwise, this is so amazing, I look foward in getting the game as soon its released!

    • @IloveCruiseShips1912
      @IloveCruiseShips1912 6 місяців тому +1

      Their is actually evidence that it was heavily dislodged in the break. I do believe it broke off in the descent but was heavily dislodged on the surface. Their are several accounts of Titanic Breaking into 3. They might have mistook the 3rd funnel as a section but survivors did testify everything forward of the 4th funnel gone when the stern righted its self. The only way to explain these accounts is if the forward and aft towers both collapsed onto their port side as it would be bending down into the water and in the darkness, it would be nearly invisible. Others also testified a break between 3rd and 4th funnels which could be explained in 2 ways. Either the 3rd funnel fell off the stern so survivors didn't see it and thought it had broke between funnels 3 and 4 or the forward tower was heavily dislodged and survivors saw the gap between and guessed it broke their. I believe the second one as it aligns with the accounts of everything forward of the 4th funnel being gone. It might not be conventional but it does follow survivor testimony about different break locations.
      Sorry for any offence, no offence meant. What are your thoughts on this?

    Beautiful! I’m still a touch triggered by modern rolling-style luggage in the passageways and 2000#-era US $100s in the purser’s safe, though.

      And the table lamp cords in First Class. But I’ll stop now.

    I was just wondering if it is still planed to turn this into an actual game, as I haven't seen any mention of that for a while. And also as impressive as this virtual Titanic is I'm starting to find it a little eerie from being empty of any sign of life.

    Nice. The only thing I miss from the original is when the rocket explodes right at the high note of the music.

    Just stunning. Amazing to see how far this project has come since its inception. Are there still plans to make it a game with a storyline?

    Very impressive. But the graphics definitely still have potential for improvement.✌️
