Well said Frank. I think Fury was trying the Wilder 2 tactics tonight, but, unfortunately for him, Usyk definitely ain’t no Wilder. There are no words really to describe the achievements of Oleksandr Usyk. Just incredible.
I agree with Frank. There are no gimmicks with Usyk. He just gets into the ring and uses his fitness and fighting ability to wear down his opponents. Fury coming in heavy hoping to land a big early knockout didnt happen and he looked lethargic in the latter rounds. The best man won easily. Pity Fury and his team couldnt accept their defeat with dignity.
I completely agree with your analysis Frank. I was very impressed with the amount of body shots Usyk landed over the course of the fight. Fury wasn’t active enough and didn’t deserve the win.
100% - The better man won- again.. I noticed DaZN also played way more of Tyson's shots that landed in the replays, not nearly as much of Usyk's slow-mo replays. So it looked like they were trying to control the narrative as best they could, but it did not work.
The right man won. Been an Usyk fan a long time. Respectful in the ring and out of it. Regarding the scoring, DAZN’s AI score had in 118 - 112 to Usyk.
Spot on Frank. I have nothing but respect for Usyk, as much for the way he conducts himself outside of the ring. Usyk treats boxing and people in general with respect, contrast his behavior with the three boxers from the UK he has beat. Hearn is thinking of money when he lied about the fight Frank, Joshua/Fury next summer, he was protecting potential income.
Fury had the Height advantage, the reach advantage, over 50 lbs weight advantage. Media and boxing industry Bias in favor of fury. Fury came in with his shorts under belt up to his nipples, his beard untrimmed (hiding his chin, hairs go into Usyks eyes during clinches) Fury was rabbit punching, stiff arming, holding then leaning on Usyk. He loses on punch stats compubox punches landed in every category. Loses on the AI scorecard. Loses on all three judges scorecards. And Fury cries robbery. Pathetic.
Completely agree with this. Also agree with Frank that the broadcast team was biased. A victory by Usyk in every way, and he is a classy, deserving champion and great representative for the sport.
I've despised Fury since he first appeared on our TV screens. He should've lost to John McDermott in about his 15th or 16th bout. Fury's just a huge outsized guy who outweighs and out wrestles nearly everybody during his constant clinching and leaning fests, that we've become reluctantly accustomed to seeing. Personally I think he's cumbersome and lummox like and the sycophant's amongst the British commentary teams sicken me to the pit of my stomach via the phony praise they bestow upon him. Fury's lucky he isn't 20+ years older and have to face a formidable Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe, Moorer, Morrison, Mercer and Foreman.
Congratulations to Usyk, His a fantastic all round fighter and a worthy champion,. However I could see moments in the fight where fury should have applied more pressure which he didn’t do, Sometimes in these fights fighters need to take a risk and apply more energy which I didn’t see and because of this you give the opponent advantage along with making them look good, But this is all a huge credit to Usyk and the way he fights,. Big respect to him, his just magnificent in all aspects of boxing
Uysk keeping it together brilliantly..God bless the king mr uysk you've done it again back to back unbelievable ...but beautiful work well done mr uysk absolutely marvellous 👏
I'm no expert by a long way but i was watching it on Prime and the commentators were SO biased too!! I was watching it wondering if i've got it wrong because i saw Usyk constantly landing all the quality shots and Fury's shots were hitting gloves half the time (even Usyk gestured as such during the match) and not really connecting properly. Not to mention Fury being on the back foot again and just surviving from mid-fight onwards. I was so happy when I heard the result as i was honestly thinking (based on the commentary) that it was going to be a robbery but well done the judges for scoring it properly and fairly. Big win for judges today.
Hi Frank, good video as usual. When you have the time, would you please consider doing a video demonstration on how orthodox fighters can deal with southpaws? Thank you and Merry Christmas.
On point commentary, thank you! Yes i too saw Fury raising his hand and then shaking his head at the verdict. A poor response. DAZN as many presenters do have biased commentators. I often just turn it down as i thinkmits designed to sway people to their position. DAZN also stuffed up again. Stop start picture for the first half of the fight, with a complete blackput between rounds 4-6! Stop/start again for the rest of the fight. This is not unusual for DAZN!
Personally I thought Usyk won but by a closer margin than described here. The battle of the jabs decided the affair but behind that it remained competitive throughout, especially if you *weight* for the greater impact of Fury's shots. 7-5 seemed about right to me, maybe 7-4-1. But who am I to argue with Frank!
Great to hear some sense and objectivity reflecting reality rather than a lot of the nonsense being spouted to create a narrative to fit an agenda or to save their pride at not predicting the fight correctly.
Can't agree more Frank, I'm sick of the pro Fury bias and boxing is a game of respect and I can't stand the disrespect Fury shows his opponents, glad to see him whopped by a gentleman
Great true review. As I suspected as I mentioned in your pre fight analysis, Usyk did turn out to be the nemesis of Fury, just as Fury turned out to be for Wilder. However, there was no shame in losing, Fury gave a much better performance second time around, but having the added weight did him no favours, especially when Usyk was far too clever to get caught up in weight bearing holds. Fury simply was not so much outclassed but the punches landed provided the right and just result. Watched on DAZN here in Australia, no signal for rounds 4-6…and the commentary was very poor. However this was a great fight, not as spectacular as the first, but a great fight nonetheless. Imo Parker should get a chance now to fight Usyk, that would be a very interesting fight and then Usyk would have fought all the rightful contenders.
Frank you've said it for a while that you don't rate Fury and I have had to re-assess Fury myself. He has gotten away with a lot of wins simply because of his size. If he was 6' 2" he would be domestic level at the most. Peter DeFreitas, Nigel Benn's former manager said the same thing about Fury a long time ago. There is no way that Fury seven rounds in that fight. Hearn is trying to brown nose Fury so that he can get him to agree to an AJ fight. As for Darren Barker and Barry Jones there is no way that they should be allowed to be on television they can barely annuciate properly.
Furry agree. Unfortunately many brits think Fury won by a mile....what a joke. The DAZN commentary was terrible once again. And Joshua doing the scoring?`give me a break
The only reason Eddie Hearn said it should have been a draw , is because he is kissing fury arse ! He wants to set up a fight between fury and AJ and milk 🥛 the AJ name for one more big money earner ! So he had to say it was a draw or could have been a win for Tyson !
Thanks for the video hearing your insight I’m gonna rewatch the fight. I thought by points maybe but your experience and years is far greater than mine so I’m gonna rewatch the bout. I thought maybe fury had the first couple rounds.
For sure usyk won I had to rewatch but yeah I think body shots and the fact that he could even get inside and land (whilst Tyson is the bigger and longer opponent was beautiful). Truly David vs Goliath. I hope both go back home to their families for a lovely holidays and get some rest. Thanks for the analysis your insight is greatly appreciated!
2 things that are a blight on the fight game are over the top biased commentary and what can only be described as incompetent judging. When you see some of the score cards of many fights you just ask yourself what are some of these judges looking at. But well said by you. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoyable festive season. 🥰🥰🥰🤝🎅🎅🎅
Agree with everything you said Frank, love your channel and boxing coaching + your views from someone that's had years of experience in the game, I would be interested from your boxing knowhow, if you had a fighter going against Usyk, what would you tell him to beat him or at least give him a good crack at him. All the best and have a fab Christmas 🎄
@scott2668 Thank you Scott. Usyk boxes with his brain. To combat him you have to think your way through a fight, Lef hooks and right crosses generally work against southpaws. Merry Christmas.
Frank's Nobel Art I dont know about u frank, but i just find todays ' Prizefighting' ( pretty much like football) very uninspiring. .For example i was watching Tommy Morrison vs Carl ' the truth' Williams ( who lost on a split against Larry Holmes ' The Jab' over 15 Rnds) and he fought a lot of good fighters, and the same for Tommy..Now this was a fight.
Good assessment of the fight. I did have it a little closer than you with 3 drawn rounds but same result. I'd be interested to hear what you think of Fury's tactics on the night? After saying for months he has to knockout Usyk to win, he didn't go for it. In fact he threw hardly any body weight behind his punches. I felt he had to put more pressure on Usyk this fight, that's why he came in heavier. What's your thoughts? 👍👍
@jeremymanning2132 Fury's weight works against him and restricts his mobility and ability to throw more than a punch or two at a time. He has many novine-like qualities eg throwing uppercuts from distance which are telegraphed and unlikely to land. Despite all the physical advantages, he did not have it in him to make them count. I shudder to think what guys like Lennox Lewis, Tommy Morrison, Ernie Shavers, Ken Norton, larry Holmes and many others would have done to Fury. I thought he came in heavier because he hadn't possibly trained hard enough.
@FranksNobleArt Thanks for the reply. He definitely seemed more agressive in the first fight and in better shape. I have always questioned Fury's training, surely if he was working hard he would have a different, more muscular physique. I also question his cornermen, in both fights they were telling him he's ahead on points when he wasn't. Should have had someone like you in his team to tell him the truth. No doubt about it Fury wouldn't have been champion in earlier era's when the guys you mentioned fought. 👍👍
I had it 6/5/1 uysk some of the rounds were close, I think fury got his tactics wrong,if he came in heavier it was to bully and wear uysk down,he was forced to box, however,I respectfully have to disagree with frank, this was a close fight again, and 116/112 no I cant see it
What fight were you watching ??? The commentary was all usyk and there was dead silence every time fury landed clean shots .. I had fury winning the first 5, 12 and shared many of the rest of the rounds. Usyk pitter patters the body and arms and wins?? Draw maybe but I had fury winning
If those 2 were the best Heavyweights today God help Boxing...it was more like an episode of Strictly come dancing all that was missing were the Frilly shirts.. pathetic! Oh & they BOTH danced for one reason & one reason alone THE MONEY despite what the Ukrainian dancer & his team would have you believe! It wasnt a Crusade!
Usyk did not win that fight turn off the volume and watch the fight again usyk is missing he is not landing clean. That fight was fixed why did they change 1 of the judges right before the fight ? That fight was a draw. Why did they fix the fight because they don't like the fury family because of john fury terrible behaviour before the 1st fight and i can't say i blame them that was also very disrespectful to their country behaving the way he did.
@tinrib656 Which underlines that you know nothing about me. If you suggest I am a nationalist, you are barking up the wrong tree. Thanks for making contact.
Your assessment of Fury blows my mind, how on earth is Fury a boxer of limited ability? He is a 6 foot 9 switch hitter with a great boxing iq and skillset. Ive heard you in the past call him a jab and grab fighter and I cant figure out for the life of me where you get this idea from. Usyk won this fight and the last one fair and square but no need to discredit the man he beat out of your dislike of his character, Fury is a great talent and a great boxer but Usyk is what you get when you marry talent with discipline and consummate professionalism.
@Nova-mz9if I respect your opinion and while I accept Usyk is the best, the heavyweight division is poor at the moment in terms of the quality of the top guys. Fury is the Primo Carnera of this era.
Well said Frank. I think Fury was trying the Wilder 2 tactics tonight, but, unfortunately for him, Usyk definitely ain’t no Wilder. There are no words really to describe the achievements of Oleksandr Usyk. Just incredible.
Very fair analysis so much better than the biased commentary
I agree with all you have said. Usyk has given respect and class back to boxing,
like how disciplined Usyk is, and how strictly he sticks to his game plan.
I'll second that 👍 my gd man!!!
I was hoping you'd do a post.Great analysis 🤛
I'll second that 100% great analysis frank👍
Agreed Sir. Usyk was professional in how he handled himself throughout the whole process last fight. I'm in his corner on this one.
Thank you Frank....well said indeed.
Usyk is the Undisputed Champ.
Your number one fan in the Catskill Mountains of NY!
The right man won. Been an Usyk fan a long time. Respectful in the ring and out of it. Regarding the scoring, DAZN’s AI score had in 118 - 112 to Usyk.
Outstanding análisis. Very objective and knowledgeable man!
Never picked against usyk. Never been letdown
Fury had the Height advantage, the reach advantage, over 50 lbs weight advantage. Media and boxing industry Bias in favor of fury. Fury was fighting dirty at times, didn't like his lunge in low blow shots then instantly going for the clinch to tie him up.
He takes after his father.
Even the desperation to grow the beard.
Usyk when asked about the beard "I don't care, I train hard"
The man is a legend !
Spot on! About the result, about Hearn and about the DAZN commentators.
Totally agree with Frank on his analysis, Sky Sports were also bias With the exception of Johnny Nelson.
Nelson was the only man to nail it.
Well said totally agree the media has been totally bias to Fury and disrespected boxing makes me ashamed to be British the right man won no question
Eddie was thinking about money!😂😂
Sergio Mora for DAZN was the only honest commentator. Had Usyk ahead for moat of the fight.
Barry Jones let himself down massively i thought
Barry Jones has IMO always talked out of backside!!!
A brilliant review, bravo!👏
UD by 4 rounds on each score card? It was closer than that! Love the channel Frank.
Thanks for your analysis and points made.. bravo!
Agree! Usyk has such authority in the ring. Usyk act and Fury react. Fury is a really good fighter and good mobility despite his size.
Congratulations to Usyk,
His a fantastic all round fighter and a worthy champion,. However I could see moments in the fight where fury should have applied more pressure which he didn’t do,
Sometimes in these fights fighters need to take a risk and apply more energy which I didn’t see and because of this you give the opponent advantage along with making them look good,

Really well said absolutely spot on fury didn’t come close Usyk was on another level
Agree on both points; Uzzy won clearly and the commentating was as usual unprofessional, biased and very annoying.
Hi Frank, good video as usual. When you have the time, would you please consider doing a video demonstration on how orthodox fighters can deal with southpaws? Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Never in doubt. Usyk has the skill and class. Hearn is an eejit, snake oil merchant, off his rocker.
Personally I thought Usyk won but by a closer margin than described here. Took the words out of my head!
If Fury was a shorter fighter he would have been stopped.🤔👌😎
Thank you, sir !!!!
Great stuff Frank...
Great to hear some sense and objectivity reflecting reality rather than a lot of the nonsense being spouted to create a narrative to fit an agenda or to save their pride at not predicting the fight correctly.
Can't agree more Frank, I'm sick of the pro Fury bias and boxing is a game of respect and I can't stand the disrespect Fury shows his opponents, glad to see him whopped by a gentleman
wash youre mouth out eddie hearn
The biased commentary on TNT was embarrassing.
Well said Frank.

Parker has to beat Dubois first and after latter's post fight behaviour I hope he does!
i watched on tnt sport and that commentary team as very biased towards fury as well. the right guy won although I had slightly closer than you.
Some people they are very honest
Dave allen got robbed too
Great analysis.
Usyk is a modern day warrior and a stoic 🙏🙌
Oleksandr the great. I think he deserves that title. Fare play to Fury though he went the distance weighing 20 stone.😉
Usyk is class act just as you good self Frank.👍🏻

Yeh, I don't know about that Eddie Hearn guy. He seems out of touch with reality.
You’ve got to clearly beat world champions…Francis Ngannou found that out when the judges gave that fight to Tyson Fury.
Spot on sir. Fury is a big diddy
Furry agree. Unfortunately many brits think Fury won by a mile....what a joke. The DAZN commentary was terrible once again. And Joshua doing the scoring?`give me a break
In what Universe is Fury an athlete?
The only reason Eddie Hearn said it should have been a draw , is because he is kissing fury arse !
He wants to set up a fight between fury and AJ and milk 🥛 the AJ name for one more big money earner ! So he had to say it was a draw or could have been a win for Tyson !
Hearn and Warren only see money, not good boxing judges😂👌😎

Good assessment of the fight. I did have it a little closer than you with 3 drawn rounds but same result.

Thanks for your great analysis 🙏🏾
Who do you think challenges Usyk the most amongst the current fighters? How would Parker fare v Usyk?
@aakhthuu Parker would give him a good fight although I think Usyk is a superior boxer.
yes you predicted. Usyk is the most political symbol in boxing since Muhammad Ali. Save World Democracy and Slava Ukraine!
Thanks for your comments from Ukraine
I had it 6/5/1 uysk some of the rounds were close, I think fury got his tactics wrong,if he came in heavier it was to bully and wear uysk down,he was forced to box, however,I respectfully have to disagree with frank, this was a close fight again, and 116/112 no I cant see it
Thank you sir❤
Fury was way past his prime, he’s a very skilled fighter and isn’t a limited fighter like you say, Usyk is just too good
if you thought dazn was biased mate you should have been watching tnt sports commentary it was awful
Sky sports commentry was terrible too, the bias for Fury was quite sickening for true & knowledgeable boxing fans!!!
Agree
What fight were you watching ??? The commentary was all usyk and there was dead silence every time fury landed clean shots .. I had fury winning the first 5, 12 and shared many of the rest of the rounds. Usyk pitter patters the body and arms and wins?? Draw maybe but I had fury winning

Not a chance
Do you make videos for every incorrect prediction? Bit of a cringeworthy title
your obbsessed with him
Usyk did not win that fight turn off the volume and watch the fight again usyk is missing he is not landing clean.
Well judging by your accent, and I’m guessing your cultural background, one can understand your dislike of Fury?
Fury won that
You talk like a fool.
Thanks Joel for being brave enough to call out BS, and for all the voluntary work you do for our community 🏳🌈
Yes Usyk won but the old anti English comes out with a spiteful scotsman it would have been closer for you had TF been scotish
@scottthefunkRedPill You do me a disservice. My views are based on what I saw, nothing more. I am not a nationalist.
Dementia comes to mind
You called it sir!
