Nightcap should be nominated for an Emmy! The attention to details are second to none! There's nothing duplicated; it's simply authentic! Funny, fun, informative, and real! Top notch platform!
Good stuff, but sometimes when they go off on tangents, joking about things that aren't acceptable. It's things that would better be joked about with the guys.
Absolutely and I love how they deep-dive into their research on people and subjects. Even if a person doesn't understand it, they will after the interview. Love it! ❤ Unc & Ocho ❤
@mykarma2 That's the impromptu conversations; off the cuff! That's what makes it authentic.. like when Shannon said about relationships, 'If you're not careful, you'll bleed on the person that didn't even cut you!', 'You're dating a person's past traumas of their mother and past relationships'. Chad said, 'It's like a math problem that carries over and has never been solved!'... Genuine, authentic, and real! As Chad cried, real tears rationalizing things, and Relle said, wow out of nowhere in the background. The conversations are needed for men.
@oboo100 Same here! I love Michael Johnson --- outstanding athlete who exhibited {even post-participation} great sportsmanship as well! But I almost did not recognize him. He looks 'different' to me, even though I have followed him --- to an extent --- as a commentator. Hope all's well!
Mike was incredible. He might not be the fastest man anymore timewise in the key events, but noone in the history of sprinting 'looked' like they were going faster than MJ. Absolute Ox him
Really enjoyed hearing Michael’s perspective as an all time great track athlete. It was really cool to hear the different strategies of a sport that doesn’t get talked about a lot. This was a fun listen!
My first race was in those. I was in first place running the 400,smoking everybody through the first 100, feeling good, long story short ,I ended up coming in last at almost 1 min40seconds, burnt out.😅
Not at all,he had this Pigeon Chest running style, which to this day NO ONE has Ever attempted. Michael was indeed special and when coach Clyde Hart saw it he said he wasn't gonna change it.
How this interview doesn’t have a million views is crazy. Listening to MJ I feel like I learned more about sprinting in one hour than what I knew before. Excited to see what he does with this new league he is starting!
One of the best Olympics Night Caps! It was an honor and very informative to hear from Michael Johnson! Honored to have seen him run and to hear his professional insight about this year’s track and field meets. Great show, guys! Thank you!
@@jeremybstudentpilot5315he held the 200 and 100 so? Bolt is the greatest runner as far as we know and MJ has also said that. Bolt destroyed records when doing so too

@justineebourgeois3420 LOL stop it. Dude had great form. Ran track all the way through college. If it's not aesthetically pleasing to YOUR eye, then just say that. But from a technical standpoint, dude had great form.
Noah's getting him back. I'm calling it, this is going to make Noah become a beast in the 200. That's his thing. I wish that they would actually give more time between the 1, 2, and 400.
I remember watching him as a teenager in high school and young adult in 2000. I absolutely love summer Olympics. and some winter events as well. So proud of Mr. Johnson his name and accomplishments are definitely etched in history. could be because my brother was and is currently a high school track and field coach. but nonetheless proud of all athletes that accomplish such a great feat. especially team USA
I was a 100m and 200m sprinter who went to state. The 400m is something difficult. MJ holding gold medals in the 200m and 400m concurrently is something amazing. Bolt might hold the 200m WR, but MJ is the Goat.
There is a strategy to track, it’s not just speed, thank you MJ for sharing your knowledge. Unc & Ocho great job with interaction and being knowledgeable of the topic!!!!!
Thank you Michael Johnson you kept my hope in Jessie Owens alive. August 9, 1936 he won his 4th gold medal. You were right about Sydney. Thank you.i will never forget your gold shoes.
Great great interview! Michael, one of my faves of All time ❤once I saw he was going to be interviewed I had to listen. Y'all the best for reals! Thank you 🙏
Great great great interview!!! This was nostalgia in a bottle kinda like an ice cold cream soda that you have to pop the top on!! MJ is one of the greatest!!! 💛💛💛
I was telling folks Fred Kerley was my dark horse to podium. His PB was the highest out of any Olympian present including Kishane. Folks forgot that and slept. Fred showed he's still in the same tier as the fastest runners of today 💯 I also been wanting Sydney to take down the 400m WR ❤. That girl is too amazing and good
Yeah 400 is tough to do with another sprint like 2 & 100. Bolt ran 400 in his earlier days. He dabbled with the idea of moving to 400 with 100 or 200 after he broke those records . But he even said it was too much.
Hi Mike enjoyed seeing you and the interview as a whole. To one former track runner to another you are fantastic. I still love track it is in my blood. It’s a great sport of individual competition, motivation, and determination with great training. I loved hearing what you are doing in the sport of track. I salute you!! More power to You!! Nightcap covering the Olympics and giving all the athletes their flowers. Gotta love it.
