This might sound corny, but i find it really amazing that a video game can get people to unite and share a friendly experience around the world, even if theres language barriers, even if the game is about war. Thats pretty cool.
I picked up this game off Game Pass and went in expecting a lot of toxicity since most PvP FPS games seem to lean that way but I was shocked at how friendly and even helpful people were in this game. I kinda figured the milsim aspect would make it even worse but no kidding this game is great for just finding people to add to your friends list and form a squad with down the line.

One of the coolest medics I met was a dude from India but early on when console came out we tried backing out and adding him but nobody could find him 😢
That's not what the game is about once you get into Command chat. It can be nice, but especially language barriers are not handled with grace. The HLL official servers are a lawless wasteland that takes a special kind of person to want to play there all the time
@burgbass The only PvP games that are Toxic are ones that cater to the commen Chad douche people and/or F2P games. If it's not some mainstream game like Call Of Duty, especially Historical games, you're going to get communities that are more passionate and mature. I was playing Arma reforger (Custome modded servers) and found some of the coolest people! I'm about to get War Of Rights and Chivalry 2 but when I get the money, I'm definitely down to get Hell Let Loose

Husk, may I be so bold as to suggest you play as a medic? It seems everyone around you is often shot, including yourself. So in those rare moments your companions are shot first you might keep a friend longer than 15 seconds. Plus, it would make for a good narrative: The Heroic Medic wins the war.

Hell let loose is the most ptsd inducing game ever . The sudden death cam , the body parts , the airstrikes its insane . What an experience , glad i bought it . Though i found hunt showdown to be more difficult .

I just had my worst moment I had to leave a game we were pushing the point at the beginning of the game I got downed and medics rendered aid when I was revived and being healed they called for smoke I tossed one right on us and one on the guys 20 feet infront....they were grenades as I forgot I switched class levels 2 minutes in I had 34 team kills I just left the server 😂😂
