Don't forget that Texas was Mexico before..so it's a Mexican cactus..Mexicans are native indigenous too.
Yeah but we don't get the same rights as native Americans. Even tribes from other states that didn't live where the cactus grows have rights to it over Mexicans. How dumb that a Boston tribe has permission to use it. My grandparents in Mexico would use peyote in form of a tincture that they would rub on their joints to help with pain. Hell they even used weed as a tincture for the same thing but people started smoking and ingesting everything so now it's illegal. Indians call it their medicine but they're just getting high, my grandparents used it as actual medicine.
Tengo Miles en mi rancho aki en México tenemos los mejores captus

De verían presumir captus de su país la lopopora es de mi México
Por el clima en canada, el peyote no se da en hábitat
"If a person performs their duties as a keeper of the living medicines with the same care and reverence that they would bring to a peyote meeting ... then the medicine will reflect that care and that reverence to those who use it as the sacrament." Nonsense. Stress is what gives high levels of alkaloids. Might sound nice but zero scientific basis for that woo.
