Im so glad Lophs mainly grow in mexico. Much safer there than being exposed to American tweekers
Awesome video thanks so much
Luv this one,,thanks 🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢 I🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧🟧
loved your presentation
Amazing talk
is there a link to that last article shown on hybridization? @34:38 I can't find it online.
Fricii & Koehresii can amazingly cross pollinate each other to create a new hybrid since they don't actually share any natural habitats together. These are the only ones of the family that will cross pollinate, though. I've been cultivating since covid.
Thats pretty neat
Excellent, this was really interesting and inspiring 🙂
TBM is on par with Peyote
Mankind needs Shamans Knowledge more now than ever .😊
the lack of spines on lophophoras makes them easy to graft for anyone wanting to learn and practice.
Blessings
This video and episode 1 are amazing videos!! Would you consider doing the same for trichocereus/San Pedro cacti??? Amazing work! Thank you! 🌵🥂
There are developments and other places using the land! Let’s rescue them!!!
"If a person performs their duties as a keeper of the living medicines with the same care and reverence that they would bring to a peyote meeting ... then the medicine will reflect that care and that reverence to those who use it as the sacrament." Nonsense. Stress is what gives high levels of alkaloids. Might sound nice but zero scientific basis for that woo.
@35:20 That's disgusting they're harvesting so much from the wild. $400 for 1000? So cheap because they steal it. Disgusting! > "Taken with as much respect as you can give it" Anyone eating Lophophora as a source of Mescaline is a moron and a douche. There are sources which grow MUCH faster.
Muchas gracias 💚
Cinnamon is good for fresh cuts also
Don't forget that Texas was Mexico before..so it's a Mexican cactus..Mexicans are native indigenous too.
Yeah but we don't get the same rights as native Americans. Even tribes from other states that didn't live where the cactus grows have rights to it over Mexicans. How dumb that a Boston tribe has permission to use it. My grandparents in Mexico would use peyote in form of a tincture that they would rub on their joints to help with pain. Hell they even used weed as a tincture for the same thing but people started smoking and ingesting everything so now it's illegal. Indians call it their medicine but they're just getting high, my grandparents used it as actual medicine.
Beautiful Mexican plant.
It's also texican
@@psilytea That's Mexican land conquered by the US.
@@Wavy_Gravywell it's America now
Good stuff man! Thank you!
Hi , May i know how did you reduce the rootstock to be able to fit in the pot? Degraft or cut the rootstock shorter? Thanks
Maria przyszła chyba na pogaduchy a nie na wykład.
Do you cut that 99% iso? I've heard it's better to have more water in it for applications like this, kills more microbes because it makes the alcohol stickier if that makes sense.
You are correct. High percentage alcohol (ethyl or isopropyl) is more of a desiccant than a disinfectant. 60-70% would be better
Why do you off center the graft? Shouldnt it be directly in the middle of the cactus?
Hi David, thanks for this. Any chance of an update? Did the graft take? I've only done one graft that took (LW on Pereskiopsis) and to my eye that scion looked too squishy - like it wasn't going to take. I'd love to be proved wrong. The title is after all "Grafting Made Easy" so I think we deserve to know if it was in fact easy... Cheers.
Underrated video. Thx for the upload
I have a question, does lophophora williamsii var caesitosa have the same concentration of mescaline as a normal lophophora williamsii?
No, not even close. That would be cool though. Var ceaspitose is really just ornamental.
Missing audio from the end of the video: ua-cam.com/video/Rm1nCYOZB-s/v-deo.html
Nice
You may also use any of my pictures from Inaturalist with credit.
We should sit down in person Tim and discuss the applicability of everything you've just said, especially in regards to Ontario cacti and how critical habitats can be initially mapped out using Google Earth then explored further in person.
Awesome video Tim! From your friends at the Ottawa Cacti and Succulent Sanctuary.
second

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Appreciated 🙏
@35:00 Yeah, probably better that we didn't have to hear that anti-White communist NWO stooge.
thanks for the lecture!
Very informative. Thank you for posting this
best info out there, thanks Adam
cactus pilosocereus azureus es alucinógeno?
This video is a fantastic resource. Thank you for the thoughtful and thorough explanations of basic care! I was hoping to ask for further guidance on artificial lighting, as mentioned at around the 26-minute mark. I have an LED that can vary levels throughout the day on a timer, to a maximum of 7,000 K. You mentioned that 2,700 K is ideal for flower stimulation. What would your precise recommendation for flower production be? Have a low-light period in the winter? Thank you!
I'm curious what that beautiful rootstock was? As would love to have some stock to try to look good growing on.
Another good video Adam! Why do you graft to unrooted rootstock? Can you explain what you do to root the stock with update, how much time it takes? Did you just put graft on dirt in pot or no dirt wire other cuttngs? Rooting hormone? How does it look now a few years later? The next steps would be helpful to me and others. Thanks!
Cenas lindas do time lapse, belo registro 🤝🏼👍🏼
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Abraços do Brasil 🇧🇷
I love that one, your first graft, its wild looking! Thanks for the info, I have a few graft, one a big Coral. No idea what the stock is, round and thick.
Hermano, quieres una cerveza muy fría. Te invito a mi casa: tengo cactus y soy mexicano...
Leave the alcohol poison
So my Caespitosa is actually a L.Williamsi but another variation
Yes. A mutant.
Very nice progress! I live for plant-progress-pics.
I had a rooted leaf of Hoya kerrii. After twelve ¡years! it said: „Jeez, its boring!“ and grew itself a fellow to have a chat from time to time. This happened two years ago, and since then, the H. kerrii grew about one and a half meters per year. I cut her back multiple times, accidentially broke her growspot… she did not even blink. So, leafs can occasionally switch to bering a full plant, but with a tissue from the node, the odds are in our favour. Thank you for your experience and insight! (With love from Germany)
