I have the 2016 Hyosung gt250r and it’s way bigger (430lbs wet) and more aggressive, I would’ve got the GD but I’m 6ft and it was too small for me. They’re great bikes to learn on and they definitely get you ready for bigger and faster sports bikes.
Yea man I’m out here in Brazil and I have the 2011 Kasinski Comet GT250. Naked bike and it’s a monster, I hit 182 on the highway and the GTRs get up to 200. I wish I could bring it back the states with me 😢

I used to own several model of the old Suzuki model and up to the newest model and never never never in my life I see any Hyogung symbol or anything that mention Hyogung company name either at the bike or the owners manual for the last 35 years of my riding motorcycles. I am 57 years old by the way.
thanks I sadly had to sell the bmw to buy my first home for me and my family. luckily I'm very good at finding deals and since I sold the s1000 I've recently bought a Panigale for $2500 and a Gen 2 Hayabusa for $1600. let go of a dream bike to come up on 2 more dream bikes lol stay safe out there

I want to just go there and see if they have any demo bikes I could pick up! Subscribed and can’t wait to see your progress with this bike. Buddy bought one of these for his wife in 17 she laid it over in the stones 2 days later and broke the mirror off. At that point you couldnt get any oem parts or aftermarket. Plus my wife's ninja 250r at the time was way quicker. You get what you pay for.

I got the same bike starter went out and cant find a new one wish i wouldn't got it now parts are impossible to find mines had 7 miles on it when i got it it got about 450 now

Thanks for the info in this case the battery was just completely shot I replaced the battery put fresh 93 octane in the bike and got the bike up and running

honestly it’s a good cheap bike but parts can be hard to find. to be honest your better off getting a ninja 300 or a Yamaha R3 for a beginner bike tons of parts available and a lot more power then this bike.

great find good job!!!! keep researching youve only scratched the surface of the chinese involvement in the bike world.... if ya have charging issues after tryin to jump with a runnin car its because ya fried stator and or regulator and so on..... lithium batteries in what is essentially 50ish year old chargin systems are a crap shoot good luck .... great bike mom he did good!!!! have a blessed day yall

Hyogung used to build bike for Suzuki... They built all the twin cylinder bikes for almost 30 years...

I have links to OEM parts distributors for GD250R one in the USA and the other in south Korea. And these bikes are quick enough for the price.

No problem man great content I have a hyosung I did some custom stuff to sounds amazing gets mistaken for a Superbike time to time mainly a Ducati
In most cases the battery is not connected properly and the nuts are not secure
