I can't pin point it, but I feel as if this review wasn't detailed enough. I hope you review the 400cc version that's supposed to be coming in 2017! And the new GT650R, GT250R. The Koreans got the looks, handling and power right (well, with my 650's at least) they just need to work more on the reliability, which is supposed to be a part of their new plan in replacing all their line up within these two years.
+The Bike Show Just been in to the local Hyosung dealer to check this one out, and boy-oh-boy was I impressed. Solidly put together, sporty riding position (think almost gsxr600/750), and she sure looks the part too. Makes you feel like a lil racer. Not sure how the standard rubber performs so was wondering if Clinton stuck with 'em or swapped 'em for a more popular brand?
Great Review! I just bought one GD250R and i'm very happy. Does awesome corners and very agile even in a city environment! :) What exaust is clinton using on his? After the 1000km revision i'd like to install one and would love some opinions. Regards José
+Nick “Lokhor” Monrad Hey there! I'm from Portugal. I drive it in the city and it's very confortable, at least in my opinion. From 0-10, i'd give it an 7/8. You can adjust the foot pedals for a more confortable or more sportive driving. The only low point of this bike is the Fuel tank, but i already learned to live with it :P Happy with the buy!
How fast can you get up to in 1st gear? In mph. The last hyosung i had was a 2012 naked 250, 1st gear was so short it was annoying because i like to be able to break away from cars at red lights so I can make whatever turn I need to before they are close to me again.
How does one put the big name bikes aside in order to get this one? Kawi, Yam, Hond, Suzy. That's a lot to put out of one's mind in order to opt for a Hyosung.
I looked at a brief spec sheet and it says fuel capacity of 7 liters?! ARE YOU SHITTING ME?! Why would I buy this bike over the GT250R that has a 4.5 gallon tank?! Btw, no one has said ANYTHING about the riding position of this bike (R version). Is the chassis short like all the other 250's out there, or is it still a long wheelbase vehicle like the GT250R?
U should buy this bike over the gtr because it has totally new things it is much quicker and faster as well it looks sleek and giving better mileage than gtr it has all digital meter and lighter than gtr so much easier to ride. And gtr is the slowest 250cc 2 cylinder bike
José Cid Good luck! I like the under body exhaust for the GD but aftermarket exhausts I still haven't seen one I like, not that I own this bike anyway!
***** Usually a shop would cut the exhaust and either weld the muffler or if it's a slip on they'd make it fit somehow I guess, I personally prefer things that are off the shelf, but you could check out some exhaust shops and see what they have to say, no harm in asking after all.
The hard part of these reviews is how to hide the fact that they are in actuality a veiled in depth advertisement. Good content though I loved it. Good info.
Got mine for $1300 with 53 miles can't wait to build up this little bike.
Stunning bike, great video. I like the music around the 1 minute mark too.
damn we need a 600 Version of this Bike with ABS...
there is one. not particularly the same niche but its called the gd650

+José Cid Hi there, what country are you in and how would you rate the comfort for city driving?

+José Cid what is wrong with the fuel tank, just that its only 11L?
+Nick “Lokhor” Monrad yeah! its a little bit small! but i'm used to it now! :)
What is the fuel efficiency like?
Where can you buy them
hi,This exhaust is what two brothers model?
Do this bike launch in India. What would be its price?
well that brand has came a long way quickly

Stephen Abbott because this one is cheaper than all of them
Not everyone have the money for those popular bikes

+Wabbit1961 The riding position is slightly forward, but not too much so. I am 189cm and find it pretty comfortable.
It's actually 7 litre for main tank and 4 litre for reserve, so total 11 litre

+The Bike Show what kind of muffle was it used? can you share? +Clinton Seller
+José Cid Looks like a Two Brothers, they don't have any different looking can after all.
+Death666wish I'm going to get a Yoshimura in my bike. Already have an offer for a inox pipe to adapt it to the bike :)
José Cid
Good luck! I like the under body exhaust for the GD but aftermarket exhausts I still haven't seen one I like, not that I own this bike anyway!
+Death666wish Ixil make a few different exhausts for this bike
does this bike use vtwin like the older version???
No single piston and 1 more horsepower to the last v twin.
250cc only 27bhp?
Around the same as all the other 250cc sport bikes.
Did anyone figure out what exhaust they have in this video?
+Nick “Lokhor” Monrad Looks like every exhaust Two Brothers have ever made.
+Death666wish Kinda weird since Two Brothers don't make an exhaust for the GD250R www.twobros.com/Exhaust/Hyosung/index_hyosung.htm
*****
Well unless someone copied their design I'd say he custom fitted it.
+Death666wish most likely. wish I knew how to do that

R 3500 means how many dollar
The 2017 bikes retail for $4000 US in 2018/2019, but you can find them for $2000-2400 new.
Getting 120 miles out of one gallon of gas is insane.
therealtubeplayer I have this bike it definitely doesn’t get 120 mpg more like 60 if you take it easy
Ride it like you stole it...
Wow!!!
I am surprised because the bike is made in Korea, but it can run and stop.
Hahaha

So he bought one to practice? And so he should because his cornering style is sloppy as hell!
