I’ve been having lower views for this month. Your kindness of making the Super Thanks contribution really brightened my week. Although I don’t make the videos to make money, every penny goes towards continuing my journey into this hobby. Your kindness inspires me to keep working on providing a little more detail about the journey. I’m glad to hear you’re following along and hope the series helps you in your journey as well! 👍👍
Dan. looks great. Not so convinced on the lantern wood bases you engineerd, i wonder want an iron arm hook extedning from a wall with the lantern suspended from it would look better? But at either rate, like you said it works amd look good. enjoy your vacation and Christmas with family.
I truly appreciate your honesty. You may have heard my hesitation when I commented on them….. I’m still pondering whether to rethink the lanterns, it could be a simple swap out….. you’re helping me!
I’ve found them on eBay but when from china it takes a long time. I’ve been very happy with modelexpo-online: Here’s a link, then building supplies and try wood strips. modelexpo-online.com/5-x-4-x-500mm-Tanganica-Strips-12-pcs_p_209.html
I recently purchased a 3d printer and I’m making them myself. It’s a work in progress. But they have come down in price….. For Christmas I’m getting a laser cutter / engraving machine that will be fun too!

Looks great Dan! Just curious (since I do ships as well) - where did you source the crates and barrels?
