Love having Jeff and Ralph back in the booth, thank goodness Leigh Diffey is not up there. Nice to have a lady on the track that seems to really like the sport and is knowledgeable.
Most riders prefer them. Tough blocks in AMA cause a lot of crashes. Hitting a tough block can cause an unpredictable reaction from the bike. If you hit one of those boxes they just collapse. Phil Nicoletti gave a really good explanation on it.
I think the way they mean to show it is laps completed. So when they cross the finish line and get the checkers it goes to 12/12 laps. But the first lap should show 0/12, but I think it starts at 1/12. There’s a few other things that they need to get sorted. The live timing was a mess during the super final. Roczen and Anstie were bouncing up and down the board the whole race because they both had #1
Just heard the WSX people have the FIM contract for 10 years, or something like that. Instead of trying to shoehorn the series in, just add a few more races and have the MXGP guys start racing SX for part of the year. This WSX is half-baked. It needs its own riders, its own greats, and not pluck from the guys on the verge of retirement from the SX series.

Great racing but terrible camera coverage. Let's not spend every race watching the battle for 8th and miss crashes by the leader and passes for the lead.
Man this whole production was a shit show. Sketchy track, empty stands, fucked up timing and scoring, clueless camera crew, lackluster commentary. Good grief. I'm just glad no one got seriously hurt

The "Glacial Till" thing must be a a selling point to hype this series and track up. But did you know that "Iron Man" Indiana sits on more glacial till than Vancouver ever had. It's just a different soil compound. Hence the Great Lakes, the largest freshwater impoundments in the world solely carved out by glaciers. I'd have to say that Vancouver has more earthquake rubble dirt then they do have glacier till. They do have some but not like Indiana which in some areas has over 200 ft of "Glacial Till". 🤷

This was a show from Vancouver from this year in 2024 and not to mention during this Ralph who is the original commentator for monster energy. Supercross is back and all I can say is 2024 is now a golden age season and this broadcast look like something straight out of the 2000s

I know, completely missed Tomac’s pass on Roczen in race 3. You could hear the crowd get loud.
I was also puzzled why they were not showing Tomac and Roczen battling, was really frustrating.
