Hey Philip listened to the recording at sunrise this morning and the meditation felt so real. Thanks my friend!

Thank you. So nourishing as ever. I really resonate with the section you read out about the tension and difficulty, tiredness and struggle to keep up with everything, to hold and direct the energy in the right way leading up to the Solstice .Very glad about warming days at last!

Spot on. The tension is all around and it's inside as well. I can imagine why there was some editing. When there is so much brightness that can be almost blinding. And the darker the shadows can be.

I thought druidism is a western based religion why is there so much meditation and asking how we are feeling? It seems like this is more about psychology than a religion of worshiping nature.

A lot of modern druidry is inner work and healing of our soul and mind . Meditation is an important practice to quiet the mind andenter an altered state of conciousness. We are still a spiritual path. We seek to reconnect with nature as a manifestation of the divine . Blessed be.

What does "Western based religion" mean to you? Typically, that is descriptor meaning Abrahamic based religious, most notably Christianity, which isn't Druidry. But also prayer is form of meditation, and prayer is a major part of western religions so they do meditate. World history is very, very old, a lot has happened, a lot has been lost to time. Human spiritualities are very ancient and span the entire world.

@@emilywyatt9340 well thank you for the description of what druidry is but unfortunately I’m not looking for a self help group I’m looking for spiritual connection with my ancestors and the land. I was hoping to find a group that could guide me.

@@its.Lora. well I definitely don’t pray or meditate I guess what I’m looking for is a group of ppl who come together to honor our European ancestors and worship and give thanks to the land. I’m not looking to go inward in a tantric way or any kind of self help healing group. But yes blessed be.

@@geeblenhoff1 ah got it, I understand what you mean. If you haven't yet, you may wish to look at other orders, like AODA or ADF. To my understanding, ADF leans more to reconstructionism.
